Solid quality, I like it!
The size and shape are accurate, I measured my unit before ordering and it's a little over 23" x 23" on the width and depth, so I ordered 24x24 and the cover fits just right, slips on easy and laces up tight, the height measured 26" so I ordered 26 H and it covers the height perfectly.I've been covering my unit every winter for 21 years with cheap plastic one size fits all covers. This cover is a bit pricey compared to the cheap store covers but very sturdy and well made. If appearance is important to you, this cover looks great, a solid upgrade over cheap plastic covers, I like it.I know there are some who say AC units should not be covered for the winter, they claim the cover promotes condensation. I say this claim does not hold up to simple logic. Sure the unit sees plenty of rain and wet weather during summer, but the sun and heat dry it out. Plenty of wet weather will happen over winter as well but no sun and heat. Are you going to allow a 6" thick cap of snow and ice to accumulate on top the uncovered unit and let all that snow and ice slowly thaw and drip into the unit, and then tell me you're worried about a little condensation? I'll cover mine, thank you, and as I stated above I've been covering mine for 21 years. I replaced the start run capacitor on it 2 years ago because it gave out due to normal aging, and the unit is still giving solid performance. I blow out the coils with an air hose at the end of each season because I live in a dusty area and cover it up for the winter, and I believe this practice has contributed to a long service life. The biggest cover naysayer I've met was an HVAC tech, but these guys are in the business of selling new AC systems, if you know what I mean. However, when you do cover your unit, be sure to put some mothballs on top the unit under the cover, and if some smaller pieces of mothballs fall inside that's fine, they won't harm it, they will just slowly evaporate away. Scatter some around the perimeter of the base too. When you cover the unit it becomes more inviting to insects and rodents looking for shelter, and the mothballs will fill the inside with fumes that they can't stand and keep them out. When you uncover the unit in the spring, any mothballs that haven't evaporated away can be gathered up and stored in an airtight container for re-use next winter. My brother had mice damage his AC unit one winter, and he did not use a cover that winter, so I also say the mothballs are a good idea with or without a cover.

Reasonable choice for large external air conditioners
With the replacement of our defunct air conditioner unit with a new unit, our older air conditioner cover no longer fit. Current units are somewhat larger due to changes in coolant and materials. Our older cover was a heavy duty contractor covering, which fit perfectly. This new cover is just a little large at the edges, but that is due to the air conditioner unit having slightly outward “bulging” curved sides. That said, the fit is not objectionable and looks decent. There is a vertical gap on one side of the cover to accommodate the coolant pipes and electrical supply to the air conditioner. That opening has a series of metal reinforced grommet holes and a long sturdy line that you lace up to close most of the gap around the pipes and power. There are two drawstrings in fabric tunnels around the bottom of the cover to tighten the cover around the unit. The drawstrings are actually sturdy lines, not “string”. So the installation is a bit more complicated than the previous cover with Velcro, you only have to do it once a year. The material is a good canvas type material that seems heavy duty. Since I just received it this past week, what the long term durability will be, I can’t really say yet. But I am optimistic based on the construction and apparent quality of the product.

Only reason it is not 5 star is color, it's more white than darker beige as shown.
Only reason it is not 5 star iss color, it's more white than darker beige as shown.Looks to be well made, easy install. I used some rocks around base to ensure it did not blow in wind and AC did not become an airBnB for critters.I would buy it again.

Quality, Great-Looking Cover
I just installed this over my Amana A/C condenser for the first time this season. The fit was perfect, and the material feels like it will last a good, long time. If it extends the life of the A/C for even just a few years, it will have been well worth it.
