Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 Classroom in a Book

Upgraded from a much earlier version to Elements 15 with a presentation looming. This book was my savior! I didn't have time prior to the presentation to methodically go through the book (that comes next!) but I could find the answers to my questions about what I wanted to do and how to do it in the new version. The presentation went well. Lots of new techniques to explore and this book is an ideal guide to that process.

This is a good tutorial if you have been away Photoshop Elements for awhile as I have been. It is very detailed and easy to follow.

The classroom in a book books are the best ways to learn a new program

I just love it easy to understand and still learning the tricks in changing the pictures

Waste of money - could never get the files to open and wasted a lot of time trying to use the Peachpit site and reload the files. The book would have been much easier to use if they had just included a disc.Just reading the book and looking at screens, I didn't see any information on PSE 15 so unique that I wouldn't have learned it on my own just based on past program experience

A really good book for learning Photoshop Elements. I don't think I have found one single error (which is unusual for a tutorial book).

I bought the software....needed to be brought "up to speed" .....so I bought the book.The book got me up to speed; however, it was aggravating.My 3 major negative issues: 1. Uses numbered steps to take the reader through a lesson (good). Loads multiple instructions under a single number. 2. Mixes chat with instructions; no shading, change of font, bracketing. Irritating, if one is expectant of brevity and wants to "get to the point". 3. Refers back to terms that are not indexed.

I recently started using Photoshop Elements 15 to help my wife make cards and prints of her paintings.I would consider myself proficient with PSE 15: I am familiar with topics like cropping, layers, basic color adjustments, etc.This book gives my knowledge level a big boost. The approach is methodical: It starts with an overview and then process to look at individual functionalities in-depth. For example, it explains not only the basic use of a brush, but also the detailed options to refine the way your brush works.If you want to move for a proficient user to an expert level user, this is definitely a good book.Why only four stars? The book shows only pictures of white people. I could not find a single person of color. I find that a complete miss, especially since the book deals with how to use PSE15 to optimize the skin tones of individuals in your pictures.

So far so good still learning, one question can photo shop do hdr or is that a different program

A very elaborate book. Requires patience and full and serious attention.

Good book very informative excellent value received in great condition and on time, good supplier, would use again.
