Absolutely no issues with wifi connection and app operation with either my S8+ or Note 10+....

This works ok, but the angles are not very ideal. It doesn’t turn quite 90 or 180 for a stable good pivot. The smoothness is there but because of its clunkiness and odd angles, I don’t use it as much as I thought I would.

It seems not long after the iSteady v2 was released, youtube creators started plugging this gimbal as the greatest thing since sliced bread.YouTube:"Could this replace the DJI Osmo 5""Is this the best gimbal in 2022"Blah Blah BlahWell ... let me say, this gimbal is just OK at best. And It's your mic audio in the app that will really bite you (more later)Pros:- the AI face tracking is down right awesome and the whole reason I bought it. Excellent for vLogging without a camera operator- That's about itCons:- You will not get Flashlight mode which makes getting a lot of gimbal shots impossible- It does not return to center. (I have tried 2 different iSteady V2s to confirm I did not get a bad one). After doing a tilt shot, it will not return back to center. So you constantly have to manually recenter it via the button- It is generally difficult to work withBut the Worst Part ... the Hohem Pro AppAt first I REALLY liked this app. Manual controls. Full Featured. Can work even without the gimbal connected. But after adding a Movo Pro mic I noticed I got almost NO audio pick up. I thought it was the mic. I bought another Movo Pro. Ruined another shoot. Thought "dang, Stupid mic". So I bought a Deity Duo. Same thing. Almost no audio. Some of my recording had audio, some it was so low it was unusable. Turns out it is the Hohem app.Today, testing mics ... again ... I was using my stock camera video app. everything was working. In 2 days of testing, audio from all sources (Movo Pro, Deity Duo, built in phone mic) ... all were fine. So weird. So Frustrating. So I thought, "why not try it with the Hohem app?" This was what I used on my last shoot.BINGO !!! . Audio totally sucked. You could hardly here the audio. And bring your clips into DaVinci Resolve and you can see in the Audio Wave forms that, compared to the phone stock camera app audio, the Hohem Pro app just killed audio.So for these reasons, regardless of all the Shill YouTube Praise and seemingly Fake positive YouTube Reviews ... I'd probably avoid this Gimbal ... UNLESS, you NEED the AI face tracking AND you do NOT plan to use the Hohem Pro app.

Still working on all of the functions, but the ones I have figured out how to use, Bam! I love this thing.

It was great at face tracking! Better than my DJI gimbal because I could use the built in video app- I liked the tripod handle it comes with. Gestures worked well

Deceptive!!! The product does not even work!!!!

All my videos that are made using this gimbal are extremely shaky and bouncing. I never use it because my iPhone takes much better video with out the gimbal. The gimbal is supposed to make my videos smooth but instead they make my videos unusable. The company was no help. Just sends me videos showing that it can be smooth. Well that doesn’t help me. From my research it is the motor that is causing it. Don’t waste your money. There has to be better options out there.

It struggels when I move my phone at faster pace. Don't recommend it. Just buy a brand name product instead of this.

C'est mon 1er stabilisateur et je n'avais aucune expérience avec ce genre d'appareils. Je l'ai acheté avant les vacances et j'en suis globalement très satisfait. La taille est idéale pour le glisser partout. Ca ne l'empêche pas de supporter le poids de smartphones plutôt lourds. J'ai un redmi note 9 pro et je n'ai pas eu de problèmes mais il faut malgré tout tenir compte de certaines choses.La qualité de la stabilisation est plutôt efficace. Il faut juste bien se former à sa façon de marcher (en faisant des petits pas et marchant un peu sur les talons). Si vous n'avez jamais utilisé ce type d'appareils, je vous conseille de faire comme moi et de visionner plusieurs vidéos sur youtube. C'est un reproche que je fais sur cet article. Les explications sont plutôt sommaires même si sur chaque mode du menu, on a une petite explication détaillée. Je trouve que ce n'est pas assez explicite et surtout écrit trop petit.Les + :- nombreux modes préréglés (pas toujours utiles)- menu très détaillé permettant de nombreux réglages- stabilisation très efficace pour permettre de filmer presque comme un pro- mode IA permettant en mode selfie d'avoir la caméra qui nous suit- possibilité d'utiliser des gestes pour contrôler la caméra en mode selfie (parfois un peu gadget)- taille compacte pour le glisser partout- bonne autonomie si on n'utilise pas trop le flash et le mode IA- boutons plutôt bien placés sur le manche pour les différents modes (photos, vidéos, zoom, enregistrement, joystick).- prix honnête si on compare à la concurrence avec autant de caractéristiquesLes - :- traduction des menus parfois approximative- manque d'explications clairs. Il faudrait une vidéo détaillée pour expliquer tous les modes et fonctions. Heureusement que j'ai visionné des vidéos en anglais sur youtube- obligation de passer par l'appli hohem pour utiliser au maximum les fonctionnalités- bras qui ne s'étend pas comme sur des modèles concurrents. Il existe un stick spécial mais il ne se vend qu'aux USA de ce que j'ai vu. Il est accompagné d'une télécommande.- manque une télécommande qui ne vient qu'avec le stick d'extension- passage du mode caméra avant à caméra arrière (selfie) plutôt laborieux avec les boutons sur le manche. On n'y arrive rarement du 1er coup et ça nous fait enregistrer des scènes ou prendre des photos à la place- difficulté parfois à faire tourner complètement le téléphone sur son axe (mode matrix) sans que ça ne vienne buter quand le smartphone est trop grand. Il y a une astuce pour éviter cela. Il faut que le manche soit un peu avancé vers l'avant avant de faire cette manipulation.Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon achat. Il faut bien au préalable visionner des tutos pour comprendre le fonctionnement des différents modes et s'entrainer avant le jour J. Après, on prend vite le pli.

J’ai pu prendre de super vidéo avec mais je tiens à dire qu’on voit l’appareil sous certains angles.Par exemple quand on utilise le mode 180/270 degré.J’ai un IPHONE 11 plus pour infos.Du coup obligé de couper les passages où on voit le téléphone. Dommage

Hab den Gimbal Anfang 2022 in Thailand verwendet. Funktionierte sehr gut. Hab schöne stabilisierte Videos damit gemacht. Allerdings ist ein bisschen Spritzwasser aus dem Meer auf den iSteady gekommen. Was sich irgendwie auf den Gesamten Bewegungsapparat ausgewirkt hat. Aber funktioniert wieder. Falls er irgendwann den Geist aufgeben sollte, bin ich selbst Schuld. Sonst kann ich ihn sehr empfehlen. Mit der App läuft er wunderbar. Das gute ist, daß der Gimbal auch mit der Original Handy Kamerasoftware funktioniert. (Xiaomi Mi10T Pro)
