If you hold this mask up to the light, you can see that the bottom section, that goes under the chin, let's light through. I emailed the company about this and they admitted that the chin section is only 2 layers. Of course, air travels the path of least resistance, so most of the air is going through the chin section. As the CDC recommends 3 layers, this concerns me greatly. I would not have bought this if I had known it was effectively only 2 layers. Too bad, as this was a very comfortable mask. But for the money, this 2 layer mask, chemical in the fabric or not, is NOT a safe choice. And if I didn't care about safety, I wouldn't have spent this much on a mask in the first place!!!

Both the photos on Amazon and the description on Amazon advertise this as having ear loops. Also, the picture on the package shows a picture of a mask with ear loops. The actual mask has head bands, not ear loops.

We purchased these for a day of travel. The masks were worn continuously for almost 13 hours and were very comfortable. They are so breathable that we were able to sleep on the flight. My high school student now uses this for her school mask. It is meant to withstand 52 washes. Highly recommend as a quality, reusable mask. We are all petite females and the medium size worked well.

Very comfortable but I’m not sure about the claims of anti viral properties. When held up to light it can be seen through. We use it to double mask over a surgical mask.

Seems to work. Very comfortable and adjustable. Would have given it 5 stars if the inside was black. White is not makeup, dirt or sweat friendly. When you pull it down to eat or drink, it looks dirty from the makeup, dirt or sweat.

Very disappointed. The “small” masks are not as small as in the 1-pack, and did not come with the same accoutrement (card to keep track of washing, ear loop patch kit). The wearer complains about fit and smell with these masks whereas the 1-pack mask was perfect. VERY disappointed.

This mask is worth the money although it is a bit expensive. I fly frequently and being immune compromised I want a product I can trust as well as be comfortable wearing. It is lightweight and very breathable. The covered nose wire bends easily so you get a great seal and don’t fog up your glasses while reading. The fabric has a antimicrobial barrier imbedded in it that supposedly neutralizes pathogens. I lost my first mask and quickly ordered a second prior to my next flight. I ordered a large. I weigh about 185 pounds. My husband wears an extra large. He is 6’3” and 245 pounds. I have always gotten the product with adjustable ear loops.

Like it, love it or leave it- masks are here to stay. I have reduced lung capacity. Finding the right mask has been difficult.Finally, after a year and tons of money, this has been an Oh Yay!! Delivery is lightening fast.I appreciate not having to change out filters, being able to breath easier and not having my glasses fog up, Especially when my breathing becomes labored from walking up stairs, brisk walking, or having to speak up from behind a mask to be heard.Those folks who go on screaming rants about wearing a mask- could in no way have a breathing problem- but if they did- this too, would be the mask for them! Get it, wear it, let’s move on.

I’ve purchased quite a few masks but this one is the ONE I will wear. Comes in 4 sizes so you can get one to fit. Doesn’t fog up glasses. Has adjustable ear loops. Handwashable 55 times. Lets you breathe. It wasn’t cheap but, when I add them up together, much less expensive than all the others I've wasted my money on. This is THE mask to own.

I bought this for my granddaughter. It had very good reviews. It is one of the safest masks.

Easy to wear. I have a long beard and the little bit of fabric that goes under the chin does leave my beard looking compressed just under the chin upon removal of the mask. Feels very secure. I have several masks and this is the best one.

Best mask I’ve used for short and long haul flights

These are the new improved SonoMask Pro masks. They have the chin covering now and that took a bit of getting used to. The Medium in this style fit both my husband and I, while the original I had size medium and he had size large. Unfortunately they were delayed due to duties but I finally got them, just days before we were leaving for holidays. I have ordered directly from Sonovia before and received them after 3 days. I had to pay duty on these masks, so factor that into your decision, but they are comfortable to wear.
