Perfect tool

I bought this drill set. It was not as strong as the manufacturer stated. The wood box is made from some cheap material which broke easily. I wouldn't recommed this product to users who prefer quality and durability.

This is a wonderful bit! I like that it is a four-sided bit vs. a two-sided drill bit. I was able to drill holes in about 20 bottles before the bit started to dull. I just wish that I could order these drill bits individually. I do not need the two large size bits, so this was the only draw back regarding this set. I would order more of these bits if I could order several of the specific size that I need. Unfotunately, they are only sold by the set. Otherwise, great drill bit!

Had my doubts, having recently purchased a concrete bit at a hardware store that failed miserably. Drilled two one-inch holes in the bottoms of two tough ceramic pots. The drill bit worked like a champ in just a few minutes. Great addition to any tool collection.

I purchased both the 5 piece set and the 6 piece set so as to have a full range of sizes. Based on the advertising and the comments these bits appeared to be just what I needed. Very wrong. The bits work very poorly. How do I know? I have a set of glass and tile bits made by Black & Decker that blow the Yukon bits away. In the same tile, with the same drill, the B&D bits cut a hole twice as fast and they only have two edges. The Yukon bits could barely get through the porcelin tile I was working with. I finally resorted to using the B&D bits up through the largest size and then finished off with the Yukon bits. And that is the only advantage I can see for the Yukon bits - they come in larger sizes than I have found the B&D bits. If you do not need the larger sizes go with the Black & Decker bits.

6 bits could be sold separate but thats marketing. Very pretty wood box they come in but a plastic pouch would serve as well and be more cost effective. The carbide drills will easily penetrate the super tough stuff!

I needed a 7/8" bit for drilling tiles to run 3/4" cooper pipe in walls.I was drilling for days to go thru ceramic and marble tiles with those hole saw bits made for ceramic tiles from Home Depot! I bought these and in seconds the hole was made and I moved on the the next and the next.... its crazy why they are not available in my area. I recomend lots of lubrication to keep the heat down on Glass and ceramic
