Use the tape to cover recent surgery area at night to keep protected.Love this product. Removes easily, doesn't adhere to skin, yet gives great protection.Does not work well if putting a cream on wound before applying. At least for my usage needs. Maybe if using a large enough piece to reach dry skin surface, it would stay on place.

I don't quite understand the science behind silicone scar tape but I am now a believer! I had been hearing about this on social media and many people were raving about the results so I figured I'd give it a try. I have a TON of scars on my legs from random scratches and injuries I've acquired over the years, so I figured I'd start with those. I use it for a week and BOOM! It worked!! Literally faded a scar I have had on my leg for over a decade. Seriously, I was a complete nonbeliever until now and honestly wish I would have done this sooner. It hasn't completely erased my scars but it has significantly lightened them. I am biracial and I tend to get hyper-pigmentation when I scar. This has helped so much! I absolutely recommend this to others!

In general, this appears to be a good quality silicone tape for scar reduction treatment. However, I was disappointed that it was not sealed for sanitary, hygienic reasons. Especially because the box wasn't sealed, not even a tape closure. For a product to tout that it's 'medical grade' and not have the proper sanitary packaging is incongruous. This negatively affects the rating.The silicone tape is good quality. It is sized in accord with the measurements in the product details and box. The tape is soft and pliable, flexible. There are slight perforations every two inches, which makes it easy to portion for most scars. Or you can cut to desired length.I think I'd have little issue with using this product on an older scar. However, I would have reservations applying this tape on a fresh scar that I'm still concerned about keeping a clean, sterile silicone covering.Attached are photos to show real world images of this silicone scar reduction tape, with a ruler for size reference. I was going to reserve this silicone tape for a First Aid kit, however, we found an immediate use for it. It’s now the time of year we have to “repair” cracked skin. My husband has been cutting small pieces of tape to cover an area on his thumb. This particular silicone tape is not only large enough to cover the small area, but also has enough adhesion.The tape easily separates into manageable sections. I had no problem separating a 1.6” piece for him to try. It will, of course, be a temporary fix for his skin. It molded well into the desired area and stayed there. Once he decided to remove it, there was no pulling whatsoever. This tape is expensive at around $12.99, but is quite handy and very useful.DIMENSIONS:1.6” X 1.64 yards(4cm x 1.5m)

I am blown away by how cheap silicone tape costs now. A few years ago I had breast reduction surgery and was paying $29.99 for a single sheet that I had to cut into strips myself. Now you can get it like this for half price and not just rolled up, but with perforated lines that allow you to tear off two inch squares! These are awesome because not only are they easy to tear and put on, the pieces stick really really well and last long time. I mean we're talking a good solid week. I just take them off before I shower then put them back on after I shower. The quality is awesome and they are making a big difference with my keloid breast reduction scar. I absolutely recommend this tape. Well worth the 15 dollar sale price.

I picked this up to add to my first aid kit when I need it. I tried a little bit just to see how it sticks. Seem to stay on all day and was comfortable to wear. I cannot comment on how it actually works on scar tissue as I do not have an area to test it on right now, thank goodness. I like to have products like this in my first aid kit ready to go for when I do need them. According to the pictures they have in their description it looks like this may be a very long slow process while using this product. The example they showed, showed great progress after using it for five months.

I get cut a LOT. I use this style tape to make my own bandaids. This is a super nice consistency and it stays on tight. Im a plumber so water adhesion is important. This checks that box. Its breatheable which i dont like really, but I cure that by applying a thick piece of tissue for the middle of the bandaid. It makes great bandages. I highly recommend it.
