I replaced my USB port with this one. Easy to use will turn itself off when the USB it's plugged in. Waterproof the button is easy to use the display is bright blue very easy to see.

I got a 2018 Wing and found out it only has one power outlet and it does not have a display for the battery. I ran across this and it fixes both issues for me. I can plug it in to check the battery and leave it plugged in if I need another source to power something. The product feels nice in the hand, not cheap. The included wire also feels nice. The cable is also plenty long for me to plug into my pigtail, just under my saddle, and then run into a bag on the backseat or into the side bag.

This SAE to USB charger was incredibly useful on my motorcycle—especially with the built-in voltmeter and on/off switch, which gave it a solid edge over other adapters. It worked flawlessly for about a year, but unfortunately, the weather eventually took it out despite its waterproof claims. DOA! What a waste of time running the wire. Thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks and not checking before install. Typical cheap Chinese garbage. I have power all the way to the unit in case you’re wondering. If you roll the dice on this, check it before install, you’ll thank me later.

This works perfectly for what I need, just re-routed my sae leads to the bars and connected the charge port. The beauty is that I can just disconnect the sae connection to plug in my optimiser. A 3ft lead is supplied if you don’t have an sae already on your bike it was just easier for me to just move my existing cable. Update, as of the 2nd May it’s totally packed up, Definitely not weather proof, it was mounted on the bars behind the screen and only been out in the rain a few times since it was purchased on 16th February, I definitely won’t be buying another!

These have an on/off toggle switch. When connected to a switched source, the units reset after each power cycle and must be turned on again to allow power to flow. This is not ideal for most applications.
