My mother and I are doing this study by phone - we're in 2 different states. We both enjoy the scripture references and find the questions thought-provoking and not the "well, duh" questions we find in many studies, nor the "what does that have to do with the topic of study" questions. We appreciate how the study guides us to notice the fruit in ourselves, while encouraging us to let it grow. The questions are designed to encourage very individually-based answers and not just a reiterating of the scripture text, i.e. if you DON'T like introspection, I would not recommend this study. I do highly recommend it to anyone wishing to grow the fruit of the Spirit in themselves.

Excellent book on God's fruit of the Spirit. Helps you to grow and be more Christ-like.

Thought provoking but not much Bible study.

This was purchased for a small group study and it worked very well! There is some homework, some reading, but not a huge amount. Good biblical and challenging discussion questions! Our group enjoyed it and it brought us to prayer for more of His fruit in our lives.

This really allows to me to think and consider scripture and passages in a new light. I am currently doing this bible study with one other person and it really allows me to grow closer to God and gain more understanding of His word.

This is a great study! I am leading our women's bible study at church and we are all enjoying how this study gets us into the Scriptures.

We are using this book as our summer preaching series at our Seniors long term care facility. As a Chaplain, I have very limited time to prepare for messages and this guide has been absolutely perfect. It gives relevant and interesting Biblical texts that compliment this theme. The commentary is thoughtful and balanced while still being challenging for all ages.
