Norpro99 My Favorite Spatula, Red

I lost the first one; had to have another. I love it in my red and yellow kitchen.

I like the color, the fact that is one solid piece, it has a slight flexibility that helps with navigating pancakes and eggs over easy. I bought this as a housewarming gift for a friend and when I used it at her place I had to have one.

Second one I have purchased. After using one I realized I needed two. Yes, it may melt at high heat but I use mine a lot and have not had any problems. Not for cooking steak or hamburgers. I flip eggs and mush grilled cheese.

This is thicker and stiffer than I’d expected so it won’t work for what I’d hoped it would. Still a good spatula and I can use it elsewhere. And really?, can you ever have too many?

This is my second Norpro 99 Spatula as the first one Broke after Many years of Use. Its slender size fits well in tight spaces. I like that it came in a choice of Red this time around.

Love this spatula, it is the most used tool in the kitchen. Loved it so much had to buy a few so one could be in the dishwasher and one clean at the same time. It’s durable, light and the base is very thin so it slips under things easily without damaging the food, eg. flaky fish, eggs with a yolk etc. I’ve had one of mine for over 10 years used everyday, washed by hand or dishwasher, still is in great shape.

I make a lot of crepes and this is the perfect tool for spreading the batter and flipping the crepe. light weight and durable. Dishwasher safe.

I've used this spatula less than 3 times in the week I've had it. Yesterday while flipping pancakes I noticed something red in the pan. Turns out the spatula had melted! I had not left it sitting in the pan, I was using it as I would use any spatula. Piece of junk. Don't buy it.
