Perfect finish
The results I had using this product were exactly what I envisioned. I painted kitchen and bath cabinets a shade of blue lighter than what I wanted the end result to be with the hopes that the ebony finished would enhance and deepen the blue. It worked perfectly. In one picture you can see the start of the project with one door finished next to the door that only had paint. You only need a little and should work in small areas buffing it out as you go. It dries quickly. I painted a piece of wood to practice on before I was ready to move on to the cabinets. I also watched a few YouTube videos to get some ideas on how to apply it. I bought a wax brush, but never used it. I used ripped up tshirts to apply and also to buff out. Wear gloves to avoid staining your skin. The finish is very smooth with a slight satin sheen and looks like a professional furniture finish. I absolutely love the results. Great product.

Didn’t work with cabinets but still a good product
Didn’t work for what I intended it for which is my veneer cabinet’s, looks like I will have to paint them after all. But I did use it for some other things in my home like this transition molding on my floors. My floors were darker and it helped to blend in the transition molding.

Easy to use
The media could not be loaded. Easy to use. Wanted to update my kitchen cabinets, I found this product very easy to use much easier than painting the cabinets, I used Ebony briwax, very happy with the results.

Powerful, Great Results, Toxic odor.
The media could not be loaded. I have a black table that I bought a few years ago from Restoration Hardware and it is now riddled with water stains, dry cracking and dullness. So I did my research and Briwax was the the one recommended by so many wood specialists so I ordered this can in the ebony. It recommended the Pre-application of Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer - 16 oz and this Briwax Steel Wool Grade 0000 Oil Free 225g 1/2lb Roll so I got those too. I did start with the Sanding Sealer and Had no I idea what it was, but I followed the directions and it added a shiny and smooth appearance. After that dried, I opened the Can of ebony Briwax and OMG, i don't know if I have EVER smelled anything so strong, I jumped back and got a fan and mask. Wow. Do not use this without ventilation. (They do warn you of that, but i think it should be bigger print). I put it on, let it dry and buffed it with the very last thing they recommended 1 X Wax Buffing Brush - Drill . I'll review all those shortly. The result is amazing. I love this stuff. But that smell !!! Be Cautious.

Awesome!!
This is very time consuming BUT I did not need to sand!! That was the plus because I hate sanding and all the tedious stuff. I just got an all purpose clearner/Dawn dish soap and a green scrub. I scrubbed down the cabinets and the fireplace mantle. I did a light coat just to see if I wanted to go darker. I wanted darker so did a second coat then let it dry and buff. I highly suggest this product. Oh it does have a strong smell but it is a stain and most stains smell lol 😂

Easy to use and great results with MUCH less prep then traditional staining or painting
Great stuff! One thing to be mindful of is what type of wood you are using it on, color will turn out much different depending on wood type and finishes already on it. We found a color reference chart with wood types online first and glad we did. We picked the ebony color for our oak kitchen cabinets and it darkened them slightly and got rid of the orange color but definitely did not turn out black like ebony shows.
