I live in a winter city and work at a Trailer outfit. Have seen many of the fancy expensive one corrodes with salt that’s applied to winter roads. Have to cut out plenty for customer. The brass holdup better in the winter environment. I use a dielectric grease to keep the moisture out of the keyhole. This should last for many trouble free years. It didn’t hurt that the price was right as well.

So far so good, only used it a few times and does what you want it to. Should help deter theft.

Works perfect for our bike rack just be mindful any lock left on for long periods of time such as through spring with its rain and winter your going to have some rust and corrosion so not in use remove it and it will last.
