Beautiful
This pen and case are absolutely gorgeous to start. The pen is light weight, yet solid and smooth to make writing a breeze. As soon as I received the pen I filled it up with ink and went to town. The pen writes so smoothly and effortlessly. The bamboo was an awesome choice to make it out of. When you fill the pen with ink it has a nice plunger mechanism on it to help with its filling. I definitely recommend this pen if you enjoy writing, calligraphy, etc. I can tell this pen is going to last me a long time. Definitely give it a try if you like trying different styles of pens.

Pen does not work right
While this pen is beautiful and so is the case, it doesn't work well. Maybe I got a defective piece but my particular pen isn't working right.I am not a beginner with fountain pens and I do know how to treat them with care. I also watched all of the post-purchase videos shared by the company for best use of their product.I struggled just to load ink into the pen but once I had done so, it didn't flow smoothly no matter how much time I gave it. It comes out and leaks or won't flow at all. Some directions of writing it works fine and others it doesn't work at all. Fountain pens are meant to be smooth and easy to write with. This one takes all the pressure I can give it before any ink comes out. I will not be buying this again and do not recommend anyone purchase this pen.

Beautiful Pen
I love everything about this pen besides the cap. The cap is VERY difficult to get back on, it takes some wiggling to make it snap in place. Other than that, the pen writes very nice, and I love the bamboo. I get a lot of compliments on it. It's gorgeous and would easily have a 5 star review if the cap went back onto it easily.

It is fine and works well, I have no current problems and this is my first pen. If this is your fist pen or you are looking for something new then get this it is well made mostly and works well.

Very nice flow for writing
This is a very nicely made pen that writes beautifully. It's a nice thin line with no skipping or scratching, even on thicker cotton paper. It's much lighter than most other fountain pens, but if you plan to do a lot of writing, that's an okay thing. It does have the look of being handmade as it's not perfect, but I think it adds to the beauty of the pen. The converter feels a little cheaper than the monteverdes and jinhao pens, but since it's seldom felt or seen, I don't see it as being an issue. Overall it's a very nice pen for the price.

... is for you!I have recently found writing with fountain pens. FYI if you have carpal tunnel and you want to work on gripping your writing instruments lighter, writing with a fountain pen is the answer, because you have to write much softer which equals not holding the writing instrument tight. This will ultimately cause writing to be a little easier. So I have used a few different fountain pens, but I must say this one is my all time favorite. One of the main reasons is the ink does not come out bulky or thick. The pen stroke is fine and consistent. For the price point, I strongly recommend this pen if you are looking to start writing with fountain pens.
