This is not a carbon block filter so don’t expect that performance, but for it’s purpose it works great.

This is for mainline water to household sinks. It is a 5 micron carbon filter that is great for reducing sediment sulfur and other particles from well. Used with a secondary under sink filter of around 0.9 microns lead and other contaminants are removed from well water. This was a good value as a 2-pack. The filter has been in month and has not clogged or slowed Watertown in sink lines. It is advertised to last at least 3 months. If it lasts over 3 months a follow-up review will be posted. Recommend as a buy (6 months filtration fro the 2-pact of filters is a great buy).

These fit as expected

This cartridge is only black on the outside, When you look down the middle the entire core is white.All white filters are usually less cost and cheaper than all black ones with charcoal. This one just has some black paper on the outside, but it is white in the core. The looks are deceiving from the listing than compared to up close.

Received it quickly and it was exactly the correct item.

When I originally purchased my under-sink filter it was easy to get replacement filters. Once the unit was a year old, however, they were no longer available at the original place of purchase and although I shopped around were increasingly hard to find. These filters are priced well and getting a two-pack really works for my household!

Super easy to install and fits perfectly. Has improved the taste of our water. Great product!
