Returning it alarm goes off while its disarmed and thats no fun at 3 am ! Stay away! UPDATE : I figured i would try to see if this was some kind of interference so i left the alarm disarmed ,it did not go off for a whole day and night ,i armed it once for an hour while we went to the park.Last night was my worst night yet this alrm was disarmed and went off at 3 :15 am 4:30am 4:45am and 7:45 am !! We havent slept most of the night! NOW Today i will completely turn it off while we go away for 2 days because it's not fair to wake my neighbors by now hear us cry wolf .And if we get broken into..I am gonna sue this company! THIS IS B.S.! WHY IS AMAZON SELLING THIS PIECE IF CRAP! I AM BOYCOTTING AMAZON WE WILL SHOP ON NEWEGG FOR NOW ON!

At first it would go off middle of night, even if turned off. Vinker sent a replacment main unit, it worked till just out of return deadline, This unit started doing the same thing now even when turned off. Wish it had been reliable. Will throw it away now.Gave it one more try June 2018 by plugging it in a surge protecting outlet. It hasn't acted up since. Will continue to try it.....

Keeps going off by itself. And disarmed! Wish the seller would send me a new one!

It fired off today even though I had it disarmed. Tested all features yesterday when I got it and it armed/disarmed perfectly fine. I don't need it firing off when I've disarmed it. Junk. Steer clear.

I purchased four systems and was happy with the above mentioned small box. At first i thought there was a mistanke but honestly, there is no reason for any additional packaging.Installation on my aluminum framed windows and doors was syper simple and took about 1 hour to install everything using the provided double sided sticky tape. I did not drill and screw to the frames.Been using the systems for a couple months now and have just run into a sutuation with one system. Like mentioned by others, we have one syatem that will go off randomly for no reason. AMAZON appears to have dropped this item from their sale system. Is this becuase (vinker) the manufacturer is not addressing the customers issue of false positives?Ill be contacting the manufacturer directly today to try and get this resolved. If I do, ill bump back up to 5 stars. If not, ill bring this down to a 1 star.Hope this helps
