Austere Marble Skypanels - Replacement Fluorescent Light Diffuser

These are a bit too big for my fixtures, and needed a small amount trimmed from the edges. I ended up using poultry shears. It took every bit of my pretty good hand strength to accomplish this. Also, the material is quite brittle and shatters when cut with shears, so it is HIGHLY recommended to apply clear packing tape over the cut line to reduce the mess and get a clean cut.Once they were in. . .gorgeous! Makes my office look way classier than a typical office with nasty, over bright florescent tubes. While the fixtures are open, do yourself a favor and add pink filters, either tube covers or flat sheets above the panels. . .filters out the blue light and makes the lighting much more natural and less offensive.

Definitely a step above the clear plastic that came out of the space. Had to cut it down, didn't find it all that easy. Attempted scoring it but that just did not work, broke off unevenly. Ended up cutting it with a vibrating saw, wasn't all that pretty but the cut doesn't show. I really like the look, it's fairly thin, but seems to lay in place pretty well. The wife loves it, so I'm happy.

We love these we had broken our light cover and could not find one that fit, these are really nice but they do dim the light a little more than I would like. That’s the only reason for 4/5 stars

We just bought a house with flourescent lights in the kitchen which are awful. When I discovered sky lights, I was shock that I didn't have to rework my lighting in the kitchen. It came in the mail on time and it fit perfect. Easy installation. It looks beautiful!!! Not only does it look beautiful, it gives a softer lighting where it isn't so bright.

I've only wish it came in different sizes. I had to cut it to fit which was not an easy task. But in the end it looks great and it adds just enough warmth to the lighting.

I wasn’t sure how I would like them, I thought they might be too busy for my small space. But, I really like them. Very classy, a nice affordable upgrade to the old panels. Also a better material, easy to install.

IMO price too high for plastic panels that cost $10 without the design.

Sometimes stuff I buy off amazon that looks amazing, but in reality is cheaply made. NOT this. It is a better made than my original panel and looks just as good installed as the picture! I think I might even buy another one here soon.
