Engine had some damage to the skeg and tiller handle. This damage was clearly caused by the shipping company. The packaging was excellent but as anything, you drop, throw, and bang around enough and something is going to give. Although the damage was esthetic only, I still contacted Parsun. They asked for photos and explanation of damage. I expected this much and the support was incredibly fast. Parsun's customer service contacted me several times and had replacement parts shipped one day after I initially contacted them. They included a quart of oil and a very nice hat.The engine has about two hours on it now so I am still in brake-in period. The engine has been very easy to start and idles beautifully after a minute or so of warm up. I look forward to many years of service from this engine.Thanks Parsun for making a product affordable for the common person.I will follow up with my review in a couple of months when I have more run time on the engine.
