We used this book on our recent tri[ and found it a very good source of information as well as being portable. One or 2 errors in the map numbering but otherwise it gave pretty good recommendations of the key things to do in the area. I'd recommend a glacier hike and trip to Landmannalaugur as highlights - bus trips are long but excellent with Reykjavik Excursions.

Great book very informative on most things a tourist in Iceland would need.
