Replacement Blade 15"

I have owned as friends all for over 20 years. I bought a replacement blade because after that time the blades seem to be getting a bit dull. This replacement blade is slightly more rounded where the screw in side meets the handle and as such does not slide into the slot in the screw whole. This fails to lock the blade and the blade torques at angles while trying to use it. I hope they fix this replacement blade design flaw. Previous blade never had this problem and is more squared than rounded on the corners.

I am very pleased that it is easy to get the Sven saw replacement blade. My Sven saw (the whole saw) is a critical piece of my camping gear, and I like to carry a spare blade when I am going into more remote territory. The spare blade comes with a cardboard protector. I wrapped a few layers of duct tape around the ends to help protect it and my other gear. I found I can put the sven saw and the spare blade into the tarp-pole bag I use for the extra two poles I carry to make an emergency shelter if needed.

Fits the sven saw perfectly, as expected. Very clean but I wish it was more nicely packed than in a paper sleeve. Otherwise it's not an issue, but to keep stored with camping gear I'd want something a little better. I imagine wrapping it in duct tape or something would be fine for storage with the possibility of getting wet or shifted around.

It's doesn't come with the wings nut, only the blade, and the blade brand new but it has some kind of chip in it.

This lightweight but rugged saw was small enough to fit in my back and big enough to cut large logs for the nightly fire.One of the few purchases that I can say I bought right.

Built to last. Keep this in my backpack to keep the trail clear.

Great for a trail saw. I carry one on the motorcycle and have used it to clear trails with downed branches up to 8" diameter.
