Creative Live! Mic M3 24-bit/96kHz USB Microphone with Cardioid/Omni Polar Patterns, Mic-Monitoring, Mute Button, Detachable Pop Filter/Table Stand

Having to work from home more often, I finally decided to ditch the silly gaming headset and get a standalone mic. No more calls that feature my disco raving RGB headset, much more professional now. It has become my dedicated mic for games and meetings. Sound is loud and clear on the other end, my teammates and coworkers all agree. Overall a solid mic for all uses, maybe i can start a live steam or recording studio in the future.Some assembly required, but was easy and simple. Note there is an angle piece that must be used otherwise you will not be able to connect the USB/ AUX on the bottom of the mic. The AUX is an output for playback. Once the USB was plugged in, it was immediately recognized and ready to use.

The sound quality of the microphone is great, but it doesn't have a very effective cardiod narrow field mode. The magnetic pop filter is neat as long as you don't touch it. It will fall right off at first bump. The knobs don't have texture, so they're not easy to adjust. Still, the sound quality is great, and it requires no driver installs. The included ball head is really useful for building your own virtual meeting rigs.

I was looking for a non-expensive standalone mic for WFH purposes and was surprised to see this bad boy within my budget.The build quality feels top-notch. The mic stand is weighty and the swivel arm holds the mic in place very well.The polar pattern switch on the rear is a nice touch. It's one of the cheaper mics I've found that allows users to switch between frontal audio pickup and omnidirectional. There is also an 3.5mm audio jack for live sound monitoring. The included pop filter is magnetic and easily detachable.The audio quality is a touch better than the more expensive, yet more popular Blue Yetis. This mic is plug and play and requires no additional software to get it up and running

I bought this microphone to use for my video voiceovers. I tested it out today and it worked really well - crisp and clear! It’s also so helpful to see the light change from red (mute) to blue (recording) so I don’t miss anything.For the price, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality, affordable mic.

Damaged during shipping, but fixed it with glue

I love this for streaming/recording my acoustic guitars. I can easily recommend this for serious home studio recordings. Using it for voice I found that it sounded clean, and natural same as the guitar recordings. All my recordings were extremely satisfactory, awesome value for the price. It was extremely easy to setup, just plug it in and go. For zoom sessions, I found that the mute button and mic volume on the front are very convenient, rather than fiddling with finding settings in the software. I would say this is very comparable to a decent professional grade Mic. The Mic table stand is a perfect weight, and the magnetic pop filter seems to work as designed. I highly recommend this product.
