These lights are a cute addition to a backyard. I placed one string across our shed and another winding up a trellis holding some plants. I've had these about two weeks now and they have gone through a couple of storms which did not affect them at all. They give a nice glow, but certainly do not light up your yard (at least with only two strings). While I like the multicolor aspect, I feel plain white would remind me less of Christmas than these do. With that said, I feel the value is quite good for what you get. I turn them on in the morning to charge in the sun all day and then I turn them off before we go to bed at night. I don't think leaving them on would be a big deal, but since no one is out there to enjoy them, why leave them on. I will say I had one issue with these that was immediately fixed by the company. Originally, one of my strands of lights was defective in that some of the "bulbs were fused together" (like melted together that no amount of strength could pry apart). Upon contacting the company, they immediately sent a replacement. I appreciate this type of customer service. Overall, I find these a fun addition to my backyard and I hope they last for several years.

these are excellent. i ordered these in april of 2019. in january of 2023, the initial set is still going! not kidding. only taking out 2nd set 13 jan 2023. luv my fairly lights as i call them. cheers!

I read numerous reviews before buying these and the jury is out if I really like them. I bought them to use on our motor home and will install and use them in 2 weeks. What I don't care for is they have to be on in order to charge them and of course they arrive with no charge and it was hard knowing if you actually turned them on or not as it is a push button control and you are suppose to be able to tell by feel what position the button is in. I would have preferred a movable slide type switch where you move it to on, twinkle or off. My other con is that the plastic tear drop covers easily detach from the light. It will be interesting to see what happens if it is windy. Once I have used them I will update my post on their brightness level and how well the tear drop covers stay on.

Ran strings all along the top of our stucco wall using mounting putty… lightweight enough to stay in place and solar power lasted past dawn! A great overall buy!

I wish they came with clips to help tack them up. We bought these for a vendor event to put up along the outside of our tent. We had to use binder clips to clip them to the tent fabric but they worked AMAZINGLY well. They weren't super bright but helped make our tent really stand out in the crowd of other vendors. I returned the 2nd night for our event and found the lights not working. I was momentarily alarmed and angry that they had only worked for one single night. I was getting ready to put up the 2nd set that came with them and saw them momentarily blink on when I reached for the solar panel box. Apparently I'm a moron. While it was "dark" it wasn't dark enough to trigger the lights to come on yet, so I had to cover the solar panel with a post it note in order to make them work. I felt like a complete and utter moron. I quickly whipped out my phone and cancelled my return I'd initiated with Amazon and the lights were gloriously perfect for the 2nd night of our event. I DEFINITELY plan on buying these again!!!!! Couldn't be happier with these lights!!!!

This is my 3rd time ordering these lights, I keep adding - I have had to repair the wiring on one prior strand (with wire strippers it's not that hard) that finally out but I'm pretty sure only because it was whipped around too much in strong winds - had it hanging off a canvas awning - the strands attached to more secure fencing are holding up well after a year, lights say they will only hold charge for a few hours but mine are almost always pretty bright until dawn. Love em.

Love the quality of the teardrops. Excellent value. The colors are blue green and red. Looked more purple and fairy like in photo.

Definitely not the water drop variety … not even sure they will be multi-colored but I’m still going to keep them
