I really can't give these headbands fewer than five stars. They weren't quite right for me, but they are still great headbands. I'm a grown woman, with thick hair below my waist, and these headbands, while still quite sturdy, were made more for little girls, I believe. They are extremely narrow, and I really wanted something wider. My bad.Even though these headbands are quite narrow, then are flexible and sturdy and very comfortable to wear. I do wear them around the house, and they stay in place. So, I will continue to wear them until they all wear out.These headbands provide great value for the money, especially if you are buying them for a child because the children in my family, at least, are always losing their headbands. If they lose one of these, you have a spare, and at this cost, it's a shame to lose one, but not a big deal. I mean it's not like they lost a diamond!These are very cute headbands, but I'll still continue my search for something wider that is a better fit for my thick, long hair. But for around the house, these can't be beat.

I bought a 2 pack of these over 10 years ago from my local grocery store and wore them for years. My friends and mother borrowed them and lost them and I checked every store I went to over the years but could never find any with the teeth. I did find one that did not have the teeth but it slips and slides and never stays in place. These are the exact pair I purchased all those years ago (with the teeth) !!! To the reviewers thinking they received a “defective pair” because the bottoms are bent: Their supposed to be like that. The bottoms are bendable, so you can make them fit comfortably on your head and to relieve pressure behind your ears that normal (unbendable) headbands can cause. I really love the tiny teeth at the top of the headbands because they catch slightly on your hair and stay in place for good! They do not hurt AT ALL like most headbands I have tried! Definitely recommend and so happy their affordable!

I’d give this 3.5 stars. The tips that go behind your ears are flexible, and I found them to be comfortable. However, the rest of the band is not flexible, so I can’t get it to sit flush against my head. The little teeth don’t help at all; they are tiny, and made of slick plastic, so there is no grip. My hair is quite fine, so these don’t work well for me, but if you have thicker or fuller hair they’d probably be okay.

It states "ouchless" like other Goody headbands I've purchased in the past, but it is much too tight for my head despite adjustment. This is one thicker band of plastic as the other ouchless headbands from Goody I've purchaes had 2 more thin strips of plastic. I loved the other bands, but this one gives me a headache.

I suffer from chronic migraines & headaches and have found these to be a godsend! These headbands don't squeeze my head, but are strong enough to hold back my thick hair. I have trigger points all over my head/scalp and these do not put any pressure on any of these points. Due to these being so gentle the sturdiness suffers a bit, but for the bargain price and the fact that they are so very comfortable I'm willing to overlook this minor issue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these for anyone who cannot tolerate the pressure of other headbands.

I just wish they came in some other colors. the ones on offer are fall colors and although i've had them before in more pastel colors, they weren't being offered here. The fall colors are fine, but i would have liked a pale pink and blue.These are great for keeping the hair out of your eyes but won't give you a headache from the pressure at your ears. They are also very thin so won't be making a color 'statement'. I have a small head and these work well with my fine hair. . I don't think they would work as well with thick hair. The hairbands are smooth and wouldn't work well against weight I don't think.

Beware, the ‘assorted neutrals’ option has inaccurate photos. You will not get the navy, brown, burgundy, tan, etc set. Instead you get black, baby blue, light pink, silver, and cream. The only photo in the listing that is accurate is the “back” photo, which is very misleading. I’m disappointed as these are less versatile and more childish colors, but the black and cream are fine.Overall, these are very delicate and the width of a shoestring. They are flexible so they should be comfortable, but don’t expect them to hold your hair back more than a loosely tied ribbon would.

I wore one in my hair walking to school on a cold day. I adjusted the headband and it snapped easily. It snapped again when I took it out.I wonder if the plastic is weaker when it is cold, but anyway now I am worried about relying on this headband for my hairstyles. This is upsetting because my hair is not easy to style and I had to go back home to fix it.
