I've been using this holster to carry pruning shears while hiking, to clear poison oak and other obstacles from remote trails... it is very good quality, and I like that it holds the shears securely without needing to actually strap them in, which is handy when accessing them on the trail.

Nice leather shear sheath , not enough pressure on belt clip though. Comes off easily when you sit down.

This pouch is well made of sturdy materials and hardware. I like the leather as it's thick enough to mold while holding it's shape. Just wrap your pruner in plastic wrap, give the sheath a quick rinse in warm-hot water, put the pruiners in and press around the high and low spots to form the leather. Let it sit for a few hours until it's dry and you're good to go!Don't forget to take the plastic wrap off!

This is a very high quality holster. While I still prefer the F910 holster for my Felco F2 hand pruners that always go with me into the garden, I will use the F912 holster for things like my smaller snips or even my weeder tool. The F912 holster will be a great addition.
