This activity, called a venotonic effect, counteracts a relaxation of vein tissue that can lead to varicose veins. Troxerutin is a derivative of the natural bioflavonoid rutin. It is an antioxidant and has beneficial effects on venous health as well. Menthol and essential oils provide instant cooling effect and swelling relief.*
