Thin but NOT too sheer for performances
I read a number of other reviews on this dance dresses before deciding to try it out for my daughters to wear at this year's recital. It is definitely thin, but you can't actually see through the main part on the front, and in my kid's case, everyone at their dance studio always wears a nude under-leo or bra (depending on age/development) for recitals, so there is a base layer regardless. Their respective sizes fit them very well - make sure you use the size chart in the description and do not go by age - and the skirts have a GORGEOUS flow to them when spinning.
