WoodloreWoodlore 82048 Tie Box

I like the box. It's very well made. It's made of cedar and smells like it which is important to protect your ties.I'm not sure that this is a practical way to store ties though. The box has two dividers which gives you three rows to store your ties in. The claim is that you can store up to 12 ties in the box which is about right. The problem is that you have to roll up each tie (if they are normally sized ties) tight in order to get four in each row. Now, once you get the four ties in the row if you take one out it's highly likely that your going to have to fiddle with the other three when you go to put the tie back in.I think something with an individual slot for each tie would work much better.

First off, you are definitely not going to fit 12 ties in this box unless they're slim ties. However, if they're slim then there's going to be a lot of empty space on the side of the rows. That's the only issue.The cedar smell is so lovely, and my brass plate was put on straight. I would advise dusting out the inside of the box before you use it though--mine had wood shavings still in it.It's also unfortunately not stackable, which would have been excellent. This would be great for someone with a small tie collection or a whole lot of space.

The media could not be loaded.  As we know, ties should not be stored hanging as it puts unnecessary strain on the seam, so we must store them some other way. One such way is to roll them. While I don't particularly like to roll them (it's just a touch time consuming), a tie box such as this is perfect. Constructed quite sturdily of cedar with some kind of particle board as the bottom, and with little rubber feetsies, this tie box is a worthy investment for anyone who takes their wardrobe seriously. The only drawback is due to the set width, some space might be "wasted" as not all ties fill up the space; however I just tuck my bowties in that space and everyone is happy.

Good value, I prefer this to a tie rack and there don't seem to be many other options. It looks great on a dresser as it shows of your collection in a sort of sartorial way.The only problem is that there is a brass brand plate screwed on the front. They are not put on their with any precision, I have two boxes and its easy to see that one is crooked (or they both are).For a item designed to organize men's ties this is a very unfortunate, ironic oversight.That said it's still recommended at this price. I may remove the plates and put on some of my own.

This is a nicely made box. As mentioned before, it is made in China from US cedar. Disappointing, but it is what it is.However, unless you have very thin ties, there is no way you are going to roll and fit 12 ties in this box. I have 3x3 ties in here and they fit perfectly.One thing to note - make sure you wipe down the box before you put your ties in it. I noticed mine had some dirt/shavings in the bottom.

I wanted to give this a higher rating. The smell is great. The build really nice. It’s just slightly too short to hold all my ties properly. 1/2 an inch short, but still great

I am giving this four stars because I like it much more than a tie hanger, which seems to get jammed and bent in a closet.It misses the 5th star because unless you have some extremely thin, unlined ties. It is definitely not stackable. If it were about 2-3 inches taller, you could stack them and save a lot of space.

Pretty good tie storage, the other reviewers are right though, 4 ties per slot is pushing it. If your ties are thick or long (mine are both) you're really only going to get 3 per slot so 9 total. Still, it's well made and smells really nice. I just ordered a second one so I'll be covered for a while.
