Please Read: Good value for money. Be carful what fleable plate you choose.
the TL;DR on the HICTOP flexible build plate is that it is a good plate and is above average for quality.strong points: good magnetic adhesion at high temperatures & good adhesion and easy part removal even after significant use.longer read:I got this as an upgrade to a creality printer that came stock with a carborundum glass bed. hint for those upgrading a cr10 v2 / v3 .. just remove the front clips and leave the back ones to help easily align the build plate each time yu put it back on. id give the same advice for any printer that works similarly. This build plate has 2 things going for it that are better than most.1. the magnetic sheet is good to 130c. This contrasts with most giving up their magnetism before they hit 100c. BE CARFUL if you are looking at other build plate / magnetic sheet combinations. make sure there able to work well at 110c without damage to the magnetic material.2. The pei coating is very good and seems to hold up well to higher bed temperatures and a lot of use. i regularly print at 100/110c on the build plate without issue. I've used the sheet works well with abs, petg, and with pla (at 60c). gives good adhesion when heated and easy release when cooled.Things to note on this build plate, ... whatever process they use to coat the service leaves a little loose/rough pei flakes on the surface that tends to come off on your first few prints, this seems not to be an issue and noticed no degradation of adhesion after the flakes came off... if you have ever spray painted primer, and felt it before you sanded it, its a bit like that.the other thing is mine is single-sided. id love for it to have been double-sided. the quality of the one said is good so, i am happy with that for the price.the magnetic sheet they supply is very good and strong even at high temps. id have no need to swap it out if I were to also get other magnetic build sheets of other materials.I don't expect any build surface to last forever but i do expect them to last a while. id defiantly buy this again when that time comes to retire it.

Highly recommend! A huge upgrade from what you're probably using as a build surface now.
I've printed on practically every possible surface: glass, PEI, G10, painter's tape, etc... This however is my first flexible build surface, and it's awesome! As some other reviews here have noted, this build surface will leave a texture on the bottom of your prints. I personally love this. I print a lot of ornamental objects where I need a really clean, line-free top surface. Forget about ironing and other methods, they still always look 3D printed. In the past I would print such items facing down on painter's tape or glass, allowing the 'squish' to blend the lines together and give a much cleaner look. But painter's tape was hit or miss for consistent surface and glass is just a paint without using hairspray or glue stick, both of which change the texture of the surface. Not a problem with this build surface, it just works and looks great. The magnet is strong enough to hold the surface but weak enough to easily remove the top portion when you need to flex a print off. The top piece is thick enough to feel solid but thin enough to allow for easily bending and releasing your printed part.Mine came with the word HICTOP on the front flap piece, and the textured surface color is slightly darker / deeper than in the pics. But it looks AWESOME on my printer and performs really well.Overall, I love this and would highly recommend it.

Glass Bed Convert
Have used and enjoyed my textured glass bed on my CR10S Pro2 for several years. All of a sudden I started having adhesion issues. Replaced nozzle, then whole hot end then extruded stepper and still no dice. Having nothing left to loose, flipped my glass bed over to the smooth side and used hair spray, everything started working again. That of course was ok but with the hair spray, it wouldn’t release when done. Figured I’d try this PEI sheet since it wasn’t as expensive as the whambam ones I’ve heard good things about. This bed is Awesome. I follow the tips I found online, between uses I lightly scrub with 0 steel wool and then some alcohol and it is perfect every time! Lighter weight then my glass bed means less ringing as well!! This bed is awesome!! Probably gonna get one for my Ender 3 now as well.

Perfect
Prints stay in place during printing and slide right off with no effort when done printing and plate cools. Really amazing compares to stock plate which was nearly impossible at times to remove Prints from. Great design well done! Thank you.

Rough surface works great!
This bed works great on my Ender 3 V2 with a couple cavets.1.) The printed parts have a rougher texture than I'm used to. On larger parts, like the cell phone case pictured, the texture is kind of nice, but on smaller parts, like the disk pictured, the rough surface looks out of place.2.) The magnetic base does not have holes cut for removing the bed leveling screws. Although it is rare, if you ever have to remove these screws, you will either have to cut holes in the magnetic material or remove the magnetic base completely which could be difficult as the adhesive is pretty strong! My suggestion is to punch access holes in the magnetic base before mounting it to the heated bed.Other than those two things, which really aren't a big deal, the PEI bed works fantastic. It does require a bit more "squish" for the first layer, but once you have dialed in your first layer thickness, the prints stick very well when the bed is hot and literally fall off the bed once it cools down! I would recommend it as an upgrade to the stock bed on any printer that does not already have a PEI build surface.
