Flex Cable (WiFi) for Apple iPod Touch 4th Gen

Great replacement WiFi cable if your current one is damaged or not working properly.I dropped my Ipod Touch 4g and cracked the screen pretty badly, exposing the old WiFi cable in the top left corner. Although my Ipod still worked fine despite the cracked screen, I noticed that my WiFi reception had not been as strong as it used to, and it frequently lost connection completely (must have been damaged in the drop). I purchased a new screen+LCD to do the repair on my own, and ordered this WiFi cable to replace it once I had everything disassembled. The WiFi cable simply snaps on/off the connecter port on the bottom side of the logic board on the extreme upper lefthand corner of the ipod. After removing the old cable and reconnecting the new cable, all I had to do was line up the screw hole, peel off the adhesive tape cover, and stick the new cable down to the frame. To make the cable fit perfectly when I was reassembling everything, I had to push the cable down flush against the frame in the very corner, causing it to bend slightly. This has not seemed to have any affect on the cable itself as it is now picking up WiFi signal again just as good as when I bought it.Great product!

Item was recieved ahead of schedule. Installed eaisly, fit fine and worked perfectly. The antenna does appear to be too big when it is installed, but once you get it positioned and the screw in to hold it down you can peel the tape off to expose the adhesive and stick it down in the exact place the old was in. This is not a novice repair item. It requires the same amount of disassembly as a screen replacement. (I was replacing the screen any way in a 4th gen ipod touch that was thrown against the wall, screen exploded and ripped out the wireless antenna) There are no instruction included. Would buy again if needed in the future.Just replaced another in a different I-pod, again no issues. Fit fine once it was screwed down and stuck in place.

The first thing I noticed, was that it was black, so clearly it was not OEM. But don't expect to find anything OEM, nothing really can be. But it does all come from China so it's most likely very close. I saw some complaints about the piece being too big, which wasn't my case at all. It fit perfectly for me; it comes flat whereas the original one is folded up, so if you follow the white lines on it and fold on them, it will fit exactly like the original. Once the iPod's all good and closed up, you would never notice that there was a different WiFi flex cable in it. Definitely recommend.

*16 year old girl w/ no experience* This fit perfectly. I found an iPod and it had a pretty bad cracked screen. The wi-fi antenna was broken so I bought this one. After I took the screen off (+ everything else) I took out the antenna and installed this one in less than 2 minutes. I only needed tweezers & something to keep the logic board up so i could put it in place (I used a small syringe) :P

Bought to replace a damaged WIFI antenna in my 2009 mackbook pro, this item fit perfectly. It was the exact same as the one which came in my computer and performs to the same standard at a fraction of the price that Apple wanted to charge.

I damaged the Wifi cable of an ipod touch I was repairing so decided to order this. The install is definitely tricky (not the cable itself but getting to it) but if you're replacing the screen you're getting down far enough to replace this anyway.

little bit over priced, other than that it came on time haven't put it on yet waiting for the volume and power cable. So I don't know if it works or not.

It does what it's supposed to, but not as good as my original one did. I now receive 2 bars at places i would get 3. But it at least still works. People have complained that it is too big, but mine didn't seem that way, just a bit of a pain to install, but all of them are. It does what it needs to, and I'm slightly happy.
