Q: What material is the platform made of? It looks like some kind of stone

It's plastic, although it looks like marble. You would never know it's plastic until you touch it.

Q: Only "Espresso" is listed as a color option for ordering, but some of the customer review pictures look like it's black. Can I order it in black?

No you cant i wanted black as well. But the espresso just so happen to workout. I still have plans to have it painted black

Q: Are the cabinet pulls silver or gold?
