Big Book of Loom Knitting: Learn to Loom Knit Paperback – July 20, 2012

This book may be a tad dated on style or type of patterns, but it's still highly useable. Easy to follow instructions, great pictures and you can update almost anything with choosing a funky yarn or by adding some embellishments. My kids love the blankets with the arms (who knew??!!) for family movie nights and they are SO much nicer knitted than those awful fleece things you can buy. The sock monkey hat is great too. Loom knitting is easy to learn on your own with great books and online resources. Give it a try! I could never needle knit, but I love loom knitting!

I only gave four stars because although the book is good, lots of pictures shown & plenty of variety of projects to make, this is called a 'Big Book'. I have many books that are more than 95 pages and don't boast that their book is large! My next project will be the chevron leg warmers.After thinking about it, it's not right to give four stars just because the book isn't as big as I thought it would be. This is an excellent book with lots of very, very clear pics on how to do a project step by step. Pretty hooded wrap & sideways beanie for projects to make soon too! Thank you Kathy Norris

There are a variety of different types of knitting patterns and the instructions are pretty easy to follow. The knitting patterns are located after the projects so one might need to go back and forth to check on the how to's of the pattern specified. I think the first item I will make will be the Slouch Hat.

I generally have no issues buying second hand. This time i regret it. It smells like cigarettes SO badly it made my whole bedroom stink...it is not going away. Uck. Patterns are ok.

This book has clear instructions with sharp pictures to help with understand. I am new to loom knitting. I have never knit before and with the help of this book and a loom I am knitting. This book marks the projects as beginner to experience and has very detailed instructions for each project. I recommend this book.

This is one awesome book! The pictures are large and in beautiful color. I couldn't ask for better instructions either. Each project lists the items and supplies you will need and then tells you what to do each step of the way. I loved this book so much that I bought a second one for my daughter-in-law who received some looms from her sister but no instructions. She too, absolutely fell in love with this book. I haven't made anything yet but will soon and can't wait. Awesome book!

I received my book today,exactly on the day I was told I would. It is beautifully written with lots of guides in the back to learn the stitches. I'm very happy with my purchase.
