Ring Alarm Pro Wifi was fixed, Alarm is good
[Edit March 2023] Ring has now fixed the wifi issue that was causing the issue mentioned below. Ring has been very responsive to the wifi issue, kudos to them for addressing the issue and release a fix. Changing the rating.[Original Post] The integrated WiFi in the Ring Alarm Pro is terrible and completely ineffective. The range is poor and the connectivity is inconsistent. If you have many devices or are doing real time video streaming or gaming, be careful. I have now disconnected the Ring Alarm and am using a 5 year old wifi/router and getting much better performance.I called Ring technical support and they said that the router/wifi is not to be used with many connected devices. That would be fine if could use the Ring device as a second network, or event better yet, disable it. But, you can't disable the wifi and you need to use it as your primary wifi. So, you are forced to use their terrible wifi. I tried returning/exchanging the Alarm Pro basestation for just the regular one without the integrated wifi. Ring declined and told me to call Amazon. An extremely frustrating hour with Amazon support with three handoffs to other agents (and having to repeat the request) got me nowhere. I am now using the Alarm Pro wifi in Bridge mode with only one computer and the Ring devices connected to it. What a waste. The alarm itself is good. The setup for all the devices is easy and the app is nicely done.

Reasonable Price easy DIY install
We ordered our first Gen Ring Alarm when it first came-out. We Love it that it works along side Ring Cameras. DIY install was easy, Customer Support is past for Trouble Shooting. Yearly Professional Monitoring cost along with the Ring camera Cloud storage worth the money VS ADT Or other brand. We have a 2nd house that requires alarm and cameras. We initially Bought ADT Equipment and Professional Monitoring - install was Just shy of $2,000. ADT kept raising monthly Monitoring cost my Sister Just complained of the same recently and now switching to Ring Alarm. Sorry ADT.We replaced ADT with Ring Alarm Pro with Build In Eero 6 wifi. It replaced our outdated neatgear wifi router and much more reliable. We loved the Ring Alarm Pro features that We replaced our 1st Gen Ring Alarm at our primary house with the RING ALARM PRO with this recent purchase - 02/2025.Ring Alarm Pro has many features, Easy DIY install, Price is good, Yearly Monitoring Cost way better than others, call back during alarm activation is quick, easy adding supported electronics like smoke Detectors and many more, Ring Camera also add as a sensor to the Ring alarm and also works with Alexa Echos etc.We are a profession DJ Company of 25 years and deals with electronics and rely on reliable Equipment. Alarm Pro with eero Wifi is great and Highly recommended. We could NOT Find anything negative to say about this product. We will modify this review if We Find any. We hope this review help other buyers that rely on DIY, Cost, reliable, past Customer Support and intigration with many Smart electronics .Both our houses is now equiped with Ring Alarm Pro and Professional Monitoring.

It did work once and it works again.
As a gun smith, an alarm system is mandated by the ATF and the State Police. This worked great nsors would disconnects then installed. Monitoring went well. After a few months sensors would disconnect. It changed it's own settings regarding the wifi settings and my cellular cattier. I use Verizon but now Ring says I use ATT. It turned of the call alert. I turned it on and later it turned it off. Extremely disappointed. Sadly it is now ready for the trash can as I can no longer rely on it.UPDATE: It seems that Ring monitors their reviews. I spent some time on the phone with tech support and she was great. Handled all of the problems remotely, answered all of my questions and now the system works as it should. there is no numbers to call on their web site so I did some digging. Worth it.

Decent for alarm but router sucks
The alarm itself is great but the eero router is horrible. It tries to take over the entire network and begins reconfiguring devices on the network making them fail to do their job properly. This is the second biggest flop of tech from the manufacturer

What a great system.
Ring really thought this product through. My old alarm company wanted to charge me a fortune just to come and take a look, so I gave Ring a shot.Setting it up was easy. I could even use some of my old Z-Wave stuff, like my keypad lock, thermostats, and garage door. I've got three cameras now, and I'm thinking about getting more. This smart home thing is like a hobby now. It's fun to add new gadgets and know that Ring's got my place covered. The quality is great, you can tell. The motion detection is on point; I have a dog, and I have the sensitivity set to low with no problems yet. It looks sleek and the size is good. The performance is smooth and fast.

Router and Alarm in One
We had used the Ring floodlight cameras around the property, but that was all. It all started when I was looking for a new router and came across this one with EERO Wifi 6. Not only did it fit my router needs, but also provided an alarm for my home. It also works with Home Assistant, which I use to automate my house. This product turned out to be a win-win-win for me.
