Good product for effective daily cleaning and mild mopping.
As I could be the first customer providing a review for this newly launched product, am attempting a detailed one, hoping it helps others. We wanted to try a basic robotic vacuum cleaner rather than directly going for a high-end one. Luckily iBell launched this product this week at an extremely affordable price and iBell being a known brand with some powerful product range, we just went ahead with it.Most of the specifications on Amazon or product guide are self-explanatory and from initial use, they all seemed to be mentioned right. I am happy with the initial use and do recommend the product.Feedback after 2 days of use:1. Packing: Perfectly packed and delivered safe, well before time. Found an extra filter, 2 extra side brushes, 3 extra mops, one cleaning brush and user guide in the pack.2. First Impression: Looks nice, elegant, sleek, light and is pocket friendly (best product for Rs.12599/-)3. Smart Connectivity: Works well with Remote and Tuya Smart App. Paired with Alexa too but having issues in getting it work. Got it started only once and failing on other instances. Couldn't direct specific modes or commands through Alexa. So, am still exploring this.4. Smart Features: Announces once it's fully charged or whenever you select / change the mode. Anti-collision and anti-bump sensors work well. It doesn't even hit the wall once it measures the room. Collision is soft and doesn't harm anything lying on it's way.5. Performance:A. General Cleaning: Tried with main brush on and also in direct suction mode. Picked up fine dust really well and I could feel the difference (vs. regular jhaado). For once, run it after you clean the house and see what it picks up. It cleaned the thin mats on it's way but got stuck on one of the mats. Against bigger mats, it successfully turned around. If you have pets or hair lying around, remove the brush and use direct suction mode.-> Please note that it did leave out few edges / corners, especially when it had to turn 90 or say 270 degrees. Also, a couple of tiny solid particles that hit the turbo brush and went out of the way, just remained as it never returned to that path.B. Mopping: Not upto the mark. Mopping frame clip is not stiff enough and took a while to stick it up. Mopping is extremely mild and not effective. Even for slight strains, better to do it manually using regular mop.C. Charge: Used it for about 45 mins of cleaning and then another 30 mins of mopping almost non-stop. 45% of Battery was left. No heating issue observed.D. Map & Directions: I reckon it takes 2-3 runs to create the maps and get used to the route. I had to manually intervene a couple of times. Tried hitting Home button from about 15 feet and after some searching around initially, found it way to the dock successfully.E. Modes: Tried various available modes like Edge Cleaning, Spot Cleaning, Full Go etc and it worked fine.F. Scheduling: Set the schedule through the app and it worked perfectly fine.G. Noise: Level is just fine, not very silent but manageable to work in parallel.6. Product Quality: Main machine, user guide, remote, brush all looked good, nothing flimsy. Pretty decent for the price.Best to set your room, furniture, etc as per the regular setup, clear the unwanted objects, toys, etc on floor and run it in Auto mode right up. It builds the gyro map and will get used to it. If you keep making changes, there could be a need to use manual mode to cover certain area.Overall, for the given budget, a good product especially during current phase. Worth every penny. Hope it lasts. Thanks to iBell and Amazon!

Don't buy
Update: putting this update after 1 year of.use. In that 1 year, the robot had to be sent back to service centre 3 times. Everytime they repair and send back, it stops working with some new problem in a month or two. Just as the 1 year warranty was about to expire, the battery died. They replaced the battery and sent back, now again after 1 month the vaccum stopped working.Mt sister too had bought the same product, after 1 year she also started facing issue. Her warranty had expired, so they charged her 2500 as service charge, another 1000 rs for courier! They repaired and and sent her robot back and when she switched it on, it wouldn't start. She has had to send it back again!I can expect fault once or twice, but every 2nd month it stops working. Has been a total waste of money. Better to buy some other brandPrevious Review:I bought the IBell robotic vacuum cleaner recently and have been using it for a week. i also have a Mi Robot vacumm which i bought for my parents, and have used that extensively during the lockdown when i was with my parents. Many people have written about all the features of this robot vacuum, so I will list down the missing features and give a comparison with the Mi Robot.1) The first thing to note is that there is no pause and resume feature. What this means is that if during cleaning, the robot gets stuck at any place (say gets stuck on ur door mat, or any other obstacle), it will stop and show error. When you remove the obstacle and start it again, it will again start cleaning the whole room/house as if it is cleaning for the first time.2) The 2nd irritating thing is that it does not know/understand when it has cleaned the entire room/house. I live in a 1 RK house, so although it cleans my room, it doesn't stop, and keeps cleaning the 2nd time and 3rd time. Then it deletes the created map and then again starts recreating the map. So you have to keep a look out on your mobile app to see if it has covered the entire room/house.3) It will not automatically go and dock once it has cleaned the house/room, you will have to press the dock/home option on the app or remote. In my single room, it is easily able to find the charging station and return. My sister has also bought the iBell robot vacuum, and she says it is not able to find the charging station in her multi-room house.4) The dust box is kind of small i feel. They could have given a separate one for mopping and vacuuming.5) There is no option to do vacuum and mopping separately. If you fill the dust/mop box with water, it will then also do mopping along with vacuuming. I first vacuum my room, clean the dust box and then fill the water tank and start it again to do the mopping.6) As many people have pointed out, the mopping is for namesake. I sprinkle water on the floor, wet the mop as well and then start it. It then does a better job.Edit: I keep some weight (half a brick) at the back while mopping.. and it mops perfectly. For those saying the mopping is mild, try this ;)7) It is able to cover the entire room of mine, and the kitchen as well. The vacuum it does is good enough.Verdict: If you can spend 9K more, then go for the Mi Vacuum robot, which is much much better and intelligent, and you dont have to worry about constantly looking at your phone and instructing it to go and charge. Otherwise, at this price range, iBell is a good buy i suppose. I bought it for 16K, my sister had got it for 12.5K. I believe 12.5K is a steal. At this price range, most vacuum cleaners do not have the mopping option or app support. Even if they have their app, it doesn't show the map being created on the app. Believe me, whichever robot you buy, you would need to see which area it has covered, and so app support is very much needed i suppose.Hence, in the 15-16K range, i think iBell is a good buy. I just wish the makers push an update or something to enable the pause/resume functionality.

Handy machine for working class
If you do not get time to broom your house daily this is a good machine to have. A click of a button and it does a good job.Pros:1. A quick broom at any time you wish2. Suction power is good3. It does a good job to clean under furnituresCons:1. You need to do some pre and post cleaning maintemance for better efficiency.2. Cleaning the machines3. Moping is not goodSome tips i found useful:1. You need to ensure that there are no too big objects (big paper, cloths etc) in floor2. Its good to clean the machine filters and empty the box off dirt after every use , just a 20 sec task but if not done its efficiency does reduce3. Big hair strands get stuck in machines front broom so cleaning it is good , that a bit tricky job4. The start and stop button touch screen on device if you hold for 5 sec i think it resets the machine, its useful if you feel there is some confusion with machineAnyways considering the unavailability of time and very high cost wages for maids, this is a economical option to have. This was a brought out of curiosity and found to be good. I didt take extended warranty just in case.
