Best running light ever! It's actually great for runners
I have tried a few other light vests and none are as comfortable AND bright as this one. One of my biggest gripes with most running gear for night running is that they are designed without a runner in mind. So you get chafing and ill-fitting gear, which for any runner is the worst; especially for distance runners. Regardless if I am in my tech T or running jacket, I don't even notice this on me. I was concerned at first because the wire goes around to the back and I thought it would rub and be awful; I was pleasantly surprised I never noticed it once. A lot of areas I run have some pitch black spots, and this light illuminates the entire area with no problem. I don't worry anymore either about getting clipped by a cyclist. In regards to battery life, I am pretty happy with it. I had a good 6 hours of running before it died (wasn't planned, forgot to charge after 2 long runs). Charging is quick via micro USB. Overall a solid product. I will be interested to see how it handles sleet and snow. If there are issues, I'll come back and update this.

better for walking than for running
I spend about 80% of my running time in the dark and have tried numerous illumination devices over the years. This is a great idea but poorly executed. Yes, the light on its highest setting is very bright. The problem, however, is that it rides up on your chest as you run and there is nothing to keep the light from shining up into your face, particularly if you are leaning forward. Also, there is a lot of side to side motion in the light as your torso rotates while running. A much better application would be a waist belt with a half inch rubber light shield that would keep the light focused down and limit side to side movement. While this lamp might be fine for walking, I cannot recommend it for running. After much experimentation, I have found this to be the best illumination gear if you get the right hat to hold it on. A rounded baseball cap won't work as it will rise up and eventually slide off the cap. A softer construction military type lid works best as the elastic grips your head instead of the hat. This really works for me:https://www.amazon.com/Super-Bright-Heavy-Dute-Headlamp/dp/B073JKKQRT/ref=sr_1_50?ie=UTF8&qid=1504008834&sr=8-50-spons&keywords=rechargeable+headlamp&psc=1

Great Light for the price. Couldn't wear my HR chest strap though.
Used this for a Ragnar Trail relay race. It worked great with a headlamp - I don't think I could recommend it by itself on trails, but it'd probably be fine on the road without a headlamp. The battery lasted easily for 3 hours at the max setting.I wish you could adjust the angle of the light though. I found that I couldn't wear my HR chest strap with this because the strap would make the light point upwards instead of where you want it. If the angle were adjustable, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Comfortable, bright light— great safety and visibility gear
I looooove this piece of gear. I moved to the suburbs a few years ago, where the streets aren't as well lit as they are in the city. I'm a morning runner, and come mid-September, 5am runs require safety and visibility gear. So I've tried a headlamp (I felt like an idiot, it never fit well, and it didn't provide great lighting), carried a flashlight (the light comes and goes with the arm swing), and wore a cap with the headlamp built in (terrible lighting, the contraption died after a couple uses, and I had to wear a hat). So this is perfect! It's comfortable and didn't dig into the skin (I wear it with a t-shirt, so I'm not sure how it would feel against bare skin). The lighting is great—very easy to see the small dips in the sidewalk or pavement (some LEDs I tried removed the shadows from the surface, so I didn't see the uneven ground and took a few awkward stumbles). With the light on your chest, it swings with your body, which I think helps differentiate you from bikers (as a driver, I appreciate knowing what's ahead of me). The rear light is a great idea as well (I've always had to use a separate light, and would usually just forget it), although I would have preferred a light just as bright as the front so that you're just as visible from the back as you are from the front.I'm a huge fan of this being rechargeable, and with a USB at that. So 21st century.I gave this five stars, but I do have one issue with it— the chest light lacks reflective material on the straps. I'm actually really surprised they aren't reflective, since the rear light isn't very bright.

Cant charge, broken
I was initially very thrilled with my purchase. The light was bright, the rear light effective, the straps comfortable. I checked upon arrival, and it came fully charged. I've ran with it daily for a month now, and the charge has just reciently ran out (30 min run a day). I really like the battery life indicator. Unfortunately, that's where the unhappiness begins... I can't charge my light. Some time between receiving the light and the end of its first battery life, some internal components became disconnected (my guess). Where the usb goes into the light to charge isn't reinforced with surrounding plastic (see images), so the casing can move around and become dislodged or stop functioning. I've tried everything besides pulling the unit apart: different chargers, pushing the usb in harder, wiggling it around, plugging it in and leaving it overnight "just in case". This one flaw is significant enough that I won't purchase again, nor would o recommend it to others, until the mobility of the usb plus has been addressed.

Disappointed
I bought this product to use when running early in the morning. I liked that it had three settings - high, low, and strobe settings. I knew the strobe setting was something I wouldn't be able to use as it would bother my eyes but was satisfied that I could use the other two settings. When I received the light, the high setting flickers on and off as well as the strobe setting. I contacted the company and was told that the high setting flickers for "safety reasons." So really, the high and the strobe settings flicker on and off. This leaves me with only one setting that I can use. I do like the low setting but there are places on my run where having a higher setting would be beneficial. I am giving the light two stars because I can only use one setting. If I had known that, I wouldn't have bought this particular light.
