neverdull is right these hold up SO well. The sharping feature doesn't need to be used often but is super easy to us. It seems much higher quality than the price. It is made extremely well. You do need to be careful though I have cut myself a time or two, my own mistake, but they are SHARP.

This is the best knife set ive ever owned not disappointed at all i absolutely love them. I use them daily the scissors are amazing those and the bread knife are the only ones that cant be sharpened in the sharpener. But dont let the bread knife fool you I didnt even know I cut myself by accident with it. They are razor sharp and great quality. Professional quality 👌

I ordered the Ninja Foodi NeverDull 17-piece knife set because I was tired of constantly switching between dull knives and cheap replacements. After using this set for a while in an everyday home-kitchen setting, here’s what I’ve honestly found: Right away, the set feels solid and well-made compared to my old Mainstays Knife Set that's over 10 years old. Each knife has a nice weight to it — not too heavy, not flimsy — and the handles feel comfortable even when I’m doing longer prep work. The German stainless steel definitely feels a step up from the random mixed knives I had before. They cut really well. The chef’s knife is probably the one I have used the most, and it slices through vegetables and meat cleanly without me having to “saw” through anything. The steak knives are also surprisingly sharp. The built-in sharpener is honestly one of my favorite parts. You literally slide the knife through the sharpener on the block and it freshens the edge. It’s easy, it takes seconds, and it keeps the knives very sharp. One thing to note: they’re not dishwasher safe. That didn’t bother me too much because I hand-wash my better kitchen tools anyway, but it’s definitely something to be aware of if you prefer to just toss everything in the dishwasher. There’s a knife for pretty much everything. This set has way more than I actually use day-to-day, but it’s nice knowing I have a bread knife, a boning knife, and plenty of steak knives when I need them. It feels like the kind of set that covers you for almost any home cooking situation. Only con for me is the amount of counter space they take up, compared to my old set. So, if you have a smaller kitchen you’ll want to think about where it’s going to sit. But the block looks nice and modern, so I don’t mind it being on my counter top next to my stove. All in all, they are definitely a solid upgrade.

I had originally ordered this set directly from Ninja. They offered $90 off and a free pan. Seemed like a good deal. After placing my order and waiting a week, I contacted Ninja to learn the set was backordered for a few weeks. I cancelled my order and immediately ordered from Amazon. The set arrived a few days later and was left in the rain by UPS but wasn't damaged. Pros: It looks nice in my kitchen. The knives are sharp but not as sharp as I'd thought they'd be. The weight of the knives feels good in the hand Great selection of knife types and having 8 steak knives is great. Cons: The block feels REALLY cheap and is extremely light. It moves easily when retrieving a knife. I may epoxy on a small steel plate to the bottom of the block. A set at this price point shouldn't feel so cheap, IMHO. The suction cups don't work very well to adhere the block to the counter. As mentioned before, the knives aren't super sharp. Maybe they need a honing in the attached sharpener right out of the box? The black handles on the knives have a light chalky substance on them. I'm hoping after a good washing that the substance goes away.

Right out of the box these appear to be quality knives. super sharp!!! We got them because we have a lot of Ninja appliances in our kitchen that we are pretty happy with. The one shortcoming is the block. Its low grade plastic and feels kind of cheep compared to our old wooden one. Still seems like a nice set though. Hope it last a long time.
