They say you build a better mouse trap and the world will . . . . . Its not a mouse trap. Its a wire stripper. A better one at that. And boy does it work great. Easy to use without the non included instructions. I had to wire up a stereo and it made short work of the job. An excellent addition to my tool box.

Good tool with extra features
I don't know if it is me or the tool but after a few uses well (I used it a lot) it seems to be slipping when stripping. I don't know how to better explain it. I had to tighten it. Other than that I love this thing.

Excellent wire stripper for working with electrical cables
I am an amateur DIY lover, It is an excellent product for working with electrical cables and, more generally,for cables for fixed installation with rigid sheath.It does not ruin the cable even with the smallest sections.-it is very comfortable to hold,with or without gloves;-wire stripper with section from 0.2 to 6 mm square without any fairy or uncertainty;-it is possible to adjust the gripper tightness by means of a wheel;-it is possible to adjust the stripping length using the special pin;-also acts as a cable and crimping tool-The wire stripper works perfectly and is well to very well made.-The shipping was also very quick.-Can not only strip cable ends but also areas in the middleFor typical hobbyist use it's perfectly fine and price is as expected for a basic tool. I have recommend it to my friend , he is an excellent electrician and deserves an excellent tool.

Why did I wait so long to get self adjusting wire strippers??
As a DYI'er I have had many mishaps through the years, especially with a slight tremor! I never knew these were a thing until someone mentioned them on a YouTube video! I practiced on some scrap wire and no adjustment of the knob was needed.My only beef is they are really awkward to use if you're left handed! But in typical lefty fashion, I conquered them! 👍

Good enough, with issues
It does the main feature well enough, stripping wires. To strip cleanly use them quickly. A slow use will cause tearing. The Wire guide was surprisingly useful.My biggest gripe was that the reason I bought them for was useless. The insulated crimper is junk. The edges are too sharp and cut right through the waterproof insulation of the 10 guage butt splicers, so two stars docked for that. I'm sure I can use my dremmel to smooth those out, but I'll probably return it. I shouldn't have to modify a tool so it can perform its intended function.
