Excellent product. The bulbs are very bright and the illumination in my patio is great. I will try to use a dimmer to be able to reduce the brightness but in general, it is a great product.UPDATE: I used the dimmer Maestro MACL-153 which is compatible for LED and CFL bulbs. To make the story short, it worked after I used one incandescent bulb to make it work with the rest of the LED bulbs. After doing that, the dimming range is from almost off to 100%. I used 2 strings attached and with all LED bulbs the dimmer did not work, but adding a standard bulb, it worked great!. Maybe other dimmer models can make these bulbs work without the need of an extra standard bulb.

I needed something beautiful, bright but warm to light up 2 gazebos I have by the pool. After going after 2 other different brands and types of outdoor lights, I finally found these. They have a nice and warm glow and look very retro and at the same time modern. I wanted lights with a soft glow like the incandescent bulbs but didn't want to get high energy bills for it. The regular LED light bulbs were too bright and took out the coziness of our tropical backyard, killing the romantic ambiance. I didn't have much hope for these Amber lights but decided to give it a try and I was very pleased with the results. They are a little bit brighter than what I hoped but I couldn't find any LED lights warmer than these.

Although there are many 'outdoor lights' available, we cannot be happier at having purchased the 48 Ft Amber LED Outdoor String Lights from Fulton Illuminations - http://amzn.to/2rl0ypv ... The quality of this commercial grade string of lights is exceptional. The lights provided are not the flimsy 'edison lights' commonly found on other lesser quality outdoor light strings. These lights are gorgeous and will survive the outdoors! Fulton Illuminations even give you 3 Extra Bulbs and 13 Foot Matching Extension Cord...!! Some reviews state there is a problem with the lights being too bright. I solved that problem with the 'Leviton DW3HL-1BW Decora Smart Wi-Fi Plug-in Dimmer, No Hub Required, Works with Amazon Alexa' - http://amzn.to/2saWxSH ... Using our Amazon Echo Dot - http://amzn.to/2rRPm4v - we use Alexa to control the Leviton Smart Plug-in Dimmer. A simple command such as, "Alexa turn on Outdoor Lights at 50%" does the job.

I was looking for a long string of Edison light styled patio lamps. I didn't want bright white and was happy when I found this amber bulb kit on Amazon. 15 bulb sockets on a 48 foot cable was easy to attach, using cable clamps, to my overhead eave trellis. Every bulb worked and I have 3 spare bulbs now since Fulton Illuminations provides that many extra bulbs.These are brighter than I expected, but they provide more than enough enough light to see the entire yard, so these will work great for backyard parties. The cabling and sockets seem to be very good quality and hopefully, these will continue to perform well after hanging out during our next rainy season. The attached photo exaggerates the brightness, I'm afraid. You can actually see the LED filaments when these are on.

Bought these to add some night time drama to our back yard last Summer, for our son's High School graduation party. I installed them with some stainless steel caternary wires strung across the yard. It took a while to assemble the right parts and set it up, but man what an aesthetic pop! So many people have continued to compliment the "wow" factor. I highly recommend these. Only thing - be careful screwing in all the bubls as the glass is very fragile. My wife went a little hard with one and the bulb shattered in her hand. For some lucky reason, she had no cuts.It's been a long, blizzardy Winter in New England and these lights held up just fine to Mother Nature's abuse.

These are a gem and I'll tell you why: the color. It isn't easy to find LED lights like these that have the yellow tint to them. A lot of my neighbors have these in their backyards, but they're all the white color. And those who do have the yellow color are using incandescent bulbs instead of LEDs. These lights are the perfect blend of energy saving and that yellow hue that sets the perfect setting in your backyard. Other white LEDs are simply too bright and end up flooding the whole yard with too much light. As for the quality, they're outstanding. We've had these strung up for months now and they show no signs of weathering, despite being in the sun and 100+ degree temps we get out here in the Southwest. I can't recommend these enough for energy conscious folks who want the pleasing yellow hue.

This is a great product, and has the appearance of one that will last for a long time. The included matching extention cord and extra bulbs are a big plus. BUT the bulbs are brighter than I would have liked. I ordered the "Amber Glow" , and the bulbs are quite a bit brighter than I expected. I might have accidentally received the "Soft White". When I contacted the seller, they just passed me off to Amazon without an offer to help.The bulbs do have a yellowish light that is not harsh. I'm going to try and get used to them, and return them if I can't. But they are definitely high quality. If you're going to hang them high, I think that you'll be pleased.

Only eight out of 15 lights work so these are going back. The bulbs are not the issue. Hopefully it is just a bad batch of string lights since most reviews are positive. I noticed another recent reviewer had the same complaint so quality control is lacking and there are some non- functioning strings being shipped. It's just an inconvenience to have to exchange them. As far as appearance, I loved the look of the lights and the strings appear durable.UPDATEI am glad I took the chance on reordering from this company. The replacement set of string lights works perfectly and I am very pleased. I would not hesitate to purchase again. Thanks Amazon for a Return/Exchange procedure that is relatively painless.
