I was blown away by how much of a difference this collar made. After almost 20 years of owning cats and outfitting them with nylon collars and watching them scratch themselves to shreds, I thought that was just how it was gonna be. Until I found this collar. Whatever this material is. It is so soft. It does not irritate my cat at all. The design is almost perfectly thought out. Of all things to write a review about... A friggin cat collar! Amazing product. If you're a cat owner used to watching your cats endlessly scratch at their necks, try this collar.

My cat, Rita, is a great runner! She will hide anywhere near the door and wait for an unsuspecting human to open the door- to her freedom. She has been collared with a bell- so we can hear her sneaking- for the last two years. Rita has chewed through every cloth collar I’ve put on her. Rita has a habit of being a climber and hider, I have had to keep her in the “breakaway” style collar for safety reasons.This is the first non-cloth bell breakaway collar I’ve been able to find for her. It’s pretty awesome. She can’t chew through it- there are teeth marks showing her attempts. The bell is loud enough and the breakaway feature has kept Rita from harming herself or getting hung up on obstacles. I like it. She hates it.

I got this knowing that the color I got probably wouldn't be accurate to the one I ordered... but I wasn't expecting a dark red. Everything else is fine though, I was okay with the color not being exactly what I wanted because I was going for form over function. It was just a little disappointing.Overall, it's a great product for a great price. It's good value and sturdy, perfect for my adopted stray who needs outdoor time.

My cat has been prone to scratch at and try to lose collars. One of the reviews I read about this one mentioned that it was more comfortable for the cat than nylon, so I gave it a try. The leather is very soft, and so far Kitty has not scratched at it. Also, I can confirm that the breakaway feature works. Definitely recommend.

These hold up better than any nylon or braided collars we've had - no matter how much scratching their toenails do against it

This collar seems well made. However, it takes a LOT of strength to pull it apart. I highly recommend they not be used on climbers like cats.

Got this for my 11 week old dachsund. Her nylon collar made her scratch constantly - that stopped when I put this on her. Clasp breaks away just right. Love this

My cat needs a collar to open his smart feeder (prescription food). The first one I bought was fabric and became scratched up and stringy within weeks just from the act of him casually scratching his neck. When it came time to replace it I opted for this leather one instead. It’s been months and still looks great! Also love that it’s a pull away, in case of an emergency.
