It's exactly what I needed. The electrical outlet closest to my cable/internet outlets is on a different wall with a doorway in between them. I didn't want a cord on the floor in front of the doorway. I needed a 20-foot, white, heavy duty cord to fit around the door, blend with the trim, and plug a surge protector into. This fit the bill. I got it because most chain stores charge about$50 for this and I needed one that's safe to use with my microwave. Unfortunately, the only appliance-safe socket we have is across the kitchen. We've had friends who had fires start because they used extension cords that can't handle high power appliances and I wanted to be safe. The is a great cord! BTW, if you're thinking of using this with an air conditioner, don't! Get a special A/C cord because that's a LOT of power. It's best to NEVER use an extension cord with an A/C, plug it directly into the wall. The cord is long enough to allow me to use my Ninja kitchen device on the island during food prep. I’m don’t think they are as heavy duty as I wanted but that was my error and nothing to do with the quality of the product. The length is perfect for me to be able to reach the wall outlet and still keep the cart in my work triangle space. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.
