Durable Nylon Business Suitcase - Carry On - Easy Travel Carry-on

This business suitcase by City Traveler is the perfect size as a carry-on for traveling in general. I fly quite a bit but I try to avoid getting luggage checked in. I prefer keeping all my belongings with me if I can help it, especially if the trip is a short one. I’m a light packer so a carry-on works for me for slightly longer-duration trips as well. In other words, a good durable carry-on suitcase is essential for my travels, whether it be a short weekend business trip or a longer month-long vacation.This suitcase by City Traveler is about 22”H x 14”W x 10”D. The weight is approximately 7.5 lbs. The 22” height includes the height of the four spinner wheels on the bottom of the suitcase. Without counting the wheels, the bag height is about 19”. Most airlines accept this suitcase as the correct carry-on size.The suitcase itself is simple with three exterior pockets—one main sized compartment, one front pocket that spans most of the height of the suitcase, and one smaller pocket that is shallow and convenient for storing smaller items. There is also a zipped expander that you can unzip to expand the depth of the suitcase by about 1.5 to 2 inches for additional storage space. The main compartment opens up using double zippers that can be secured using a TSA lock. A generic TSA lock is included, but I prefer using one that I already have.The main compartment can store a good amount of clothes if you know how to efficiently pack. There are straps inside the compartment to strap some of your clothes/items. The material of the suitcase is a heavy-duty nylon that seems durable enough. The suitcase has two padded handles, one on the top and the other on the side. The top also includes a telescoping handle used to effectively push your suitcase across airport terminals with ease. The spinner wheels are reinforced and don’t have any issues getting stuck.Overall, this is more than acceptable carry-on suitcase for my traveling needs. The quality is better than expected for a non-name brand suitcase. It has a decent amount of zipper compartments and a nice large compartment for storage. It also has the added expanding feature as well as well as a handle, a side handle, and a telescoping handle. The spinner wheels are good and solid and don’t seem prone to breaking even with rough handling. After several trips, I’ll be updating to see how this suitcase holds up.

GREAT Suite Case! I purchased the City Traveler Durable Nylon Business Suite Case for my husband. He's an experienced traveler and looks for certain key features when picking out a suite case. This bag quickly impressed us right out of the box!The Telescoping Handle glides up and down without any irritating sticky catches. It offers a nice range of adjustment options, which allows you to pick the best handle position for your needs at the time. I can't stress enough just how smoothly this handle operates!These Zippers immediately caught my eye! They look amazing and function flawlessly!! They're longer, thick, sturdy and designed perfectly for easy grasping and use. They really stand apart from the average cheap zippers normally found on a suite case. To test the functionality, I asked my Mom to give it a try. She has had multiple surgeries on her hands, has no feeling in a couple of fingers, and yet found these zippers to be very easy to grip and maneuver! There is no snagging or catches when unzipping the compartments either. Again, everything works flawlessly!The Front Compartment - is deep and easily fits my husband's 12.1 Samsung Tablet, protective case and all. Now, the compartment doesn't really have any extra padding for such devices, so you would want to compensate as needed if you decide to utilize that space for delicate electronics.The Middle Compartment - is smaller and just right for holding your passport, boarding pass, cell phone, charger, or any other small items you may need quick or frequent access to.The Main Compartment - can be expanded and is deep enough for my husband to pack for a 5 day business trip. (I haven't used this bag myself, but I'm not sure I could pack as much as he can.) There is a liner that can be unzipped, along with 2 straps and buckles to hold your cloths in place while moving from place to place. The inside of the lid has a zippered mesh pocket. (This is where the company packed the suite case lock by the way.)Moving down to the Wheels, they're rubber, have a full 360 degree turning ability, and each wheel set has a 2 wheel design. (for a total of 8) The bag is well balanced and rolls around with ease. Also, to make tilting the bag even easier, there are small hard plastic kick plates above the wheels.This bag has 2 Padded Handles, one on top and one on the side. Now, it should be noted that this bag is designed to safely sit on it's side. It comes with 4 raised "feet", for lack of a better description, that allow the bag to rest on it's side without risk of damage. Making this suite case even more versatile.I truly appreciate all the attention to detail, and thought, that went into the making of this suite case. (such as the reinforced corners) The only concern I have so far is in the area where the lid connects to the main compartment. I would have liked to have seen a more sturdy connection, since the lid will certainly receive a good deal of use. As it is now, there is more free range of movement than I personally prefer. I fear that in time this area might become an issue? Right now all is well, only time and use will tell. But even so, this one possible concern would not be enough to prevent me from purchasing another one. This is an awesome suitcase!
