Metal-plated (nickel?stainless steel?) copper ring that I've worn everyday. I bought and use it as a splint for arthritis, so it works well. Cobuchon (clear jewel) appears to be acrylic and easily marred/chipped. Expected from a "toy-like" mood ring, so no worries.I like the eagle design over some of the other abstract designs I've seen. The mood colors are fun, but after two months, the pigment color effects have dissipated and already less reactive to temperatures. Typical application of high-quality thermochromatic pigment underneath should normally last at least a year.I've bought two and like the fit, style and durability, though as mentioned, the jewel is already severly marred/worned from wear. I use as a utility item to splint my finger from injury so it's more functional (8 out of 10) over looks (3/10).

Advertised as stainless steel band. It's a lie it's some brushed on silver crap that comes off easily after wearing for a day or two and underneath is cheap copper that turns your finger green. Absolutely disgraceful to deceive your customers of the materials used.

I liked that it fits. Don't like it was made in China. Make our fun junk at home.

This ring is really nice. The color changes are almost immediate and very vibrant. I like the style of the ring and the design on the side. The metal is a little cheap and will begin to wear down quickly and expose what I think is some type of cheap copper underneath. If you have sensitive skin be careful. You could put a thin layer of plastic tape on the inside so it does not affect your skin.
