Great table -- lousy delivery service
The table itself is quite nice and easy to assemble. It's very sturdy and can be made more so with a small bead of carpenter's glue along the edges before the cams are tightened. It simulates oak quite well for a table made of particle board. The shipping service, on the other hand, was dismal. The tracking system only provided the most recent scans rather than the full history of the shipment. The terminology used on their website is ambiguous at best and when it finally made it onto a delivery truck a full week and a half after I paid for it, the driver took it back to the warehouse without ever ringing my doorbell, claiming no one was home. BUNK! I was home all day waiting for it. I had to drive down to the warehouse to pick it up myself.I'm very happy with the coffee table, but if any seller tells me they use TForce delivery services, I will cancel the purchase.

Perfect size for a small living room
Nice sturdy coffee table with a lift top that you can store items inside and you can even use it as a desk for a laptop or for whatever you like. The top lifts right above your knees when you are sitting down, just the perfect height. Easy to assemble.

It's sturdy and when you extend the top it's also sturdy
First, a little background:For the record, I use the term "extension" to mean the lift-top part. It's really the main reason to get a table like this. So, I had a very specific need for this coffee table. I spend most of my free time in the living room. My TV is connected to my gaming PC, a Mac Mini, PS4 Pro, 4K/Blu-Ray player and a Switch. The problem I was having was with the PC and Mac where the keyboard/mouse required me to lean so far down that I was starting to suffer aches and pains.First of all, this table is (without the extension) higher than a normal coffee table. Even set this way (as you can see in the first picture) it's better than what I was using. I can actually type this review with minimal bending on my part. I'm 51 and any chance to avoid body aches is a bonus! But it really does shine when you extend it. First, my biggest concern was how solid it would be with pressure from daily typing, mousing and even hooking up a Thrustmaster joystick/throttle combo in flight games. It did not disappoint. It didn't move an inch when I was in an intense session of Star Wars: Squadrons. I thought that was pretty amazing. One thing I should mention (and this is a good thing) is that the mechanism that allows you to move the extension from down to up is, well, stiff (hey, no laughing, you). Seriously, though, it takes some effort to move it and that is exactly as it should be. When I was looking for tables like this it was my main concern that it would just fall down when I was doing anything. Not this baby, absolutely not.A couple final notes about building. It took me about 6 hours to complete, but for a couple of reasons.1) There are a lot of parts and turning a screwdriver repeatedly does awful things to people my age. I needed to give my hands a rest.2) I was terrified by the instruction in the manual that was basically "this step requires two people." I live alone (yeah, when you read owner of a PC/Mac/PS4/Switch, I'm sure your first though was -- bachelor!), and in this age of COVID, I'm not sure I could trust strangers to come in to help.Good news: I finished it all on my own! The extension is the tough part, but if you can get one side screwed in, the rest is easy. I didn't want to use power tools, but I did struggle to get those parts in manually, so I used my power screwdriver and it made it so much easier. Finally, I love Sauder, if for no other reason than they have these funny little bits in their manuals like, "Rome wasn't built in a day, but you can do this in a day" or something. Sorry. It was funnier while I was building it.I hope you found this review useful. I don't do them all that often, but this piece impressed me. Cheers!

Solid table, some frustration
This is a solid table, although a little smaller than I expected. It’s shorter than I anticipated but once open it’s a good height. The pieces in the box were not labeled so I had to judge what was what from photos in the book, and one of the cam screws came broken so I had to order replacement cam screws from Amazon. Once put together it fits well. The rubber pads will NOT go down all the way at the end and the top won’t close fully until it gets worn in a bit so don’t worry like I did! Would recommend for anyone looking for a decent and low-cost storage table, but watch out for the cams and make sure to match up the pieces correctly.

Easy to assemble, incredibly sturdy, and very pleased with overall appearance.
Without being too wordy, I'll review this coffee table as best as I can! First and foremost, this coffee table is beautiful... I am so glad I bought it. I have received numerous compliments on how nice it looks and lots of questions about where I purchased it. Yes, sure it's particleboard covered up to look like solid pieces of wood, but this thing is STURDY and you'd never be able to tell that it wasn't solid slabs of wood. For being as sturdy as it is, it's also incredibly light... it slides along the floor with ease when I pull it closer to bring the top up to eat, do work, etc. The height of the lift top is just right, and it holds quite a bit of weight. The storage compartment holds quite a bit as well.Installation was a BREEZE and I only needed help at the end (when you need someone to briefly hold the lift top so you can attach it to the base). When I did get stumped at parts, Sauder has an AWESOME illustrated video tutorial you can go to (via scanning a QR code that takes you directly to it) that shows you every install step, with the parts you're working on (colorized and highlighted to stand out), and how they need to be installed. Not only this but their illustrated instructions in the book were hilarious at parts... Sauder has some funny lines (here and there) about it not being rocket science, and that the coffee table isn't Rome... you can build it in a day. ;) That made the install less of a pain and more of an enjoyable experience. So do yourself a favor and buy this table... look no further... this IS the table you're looking for!!! :D
