Finally, I accepted my friend's suggestion that using a soy milk maker for soy milk and other similars and bought this soy milk maker. To my surprise, it changes my experience totally after three usages:1. I don't need to filter out the soy milk any more. Just drink it directly and feel very smooth.2. Soy milk tastes much better. I had several soy milk makers from different makers and had to do some tricks to make the same quality. Those tricks took me much time and eventually those machines were left in storage and were recycled eventually.3. This machine is very easy to clean. No more filter cleaning; No more hard-to-clean area; Only 2 parts to be cleaned.4. This machine is very easy to operate and soy milk quality is pretty consistent from every use.

If you can get past the inadequate and often incomprehensible User's Manual, this is a wonderful machine! (Fortunately, there are lots of good tips for use and recipes online.) I've made soy milk from whole soybeans and almond milk from sliced almonds and been extremely happy with the results. Not only is homemade less expensive, you can also control what's added to sweeten or flavor your milks. You do have to be meticulous about cleaning the machine properly and immediately after use, but it's not difficult. My only complaint--and it's minor--is that when the cycle is complete, the machine does not automatically switch to "Keep Warm".

I had this for over a year, and still works very good, I find out it will be only easy to clean if you clean it as soon as the beep sound which means the soy milk ready time, if I wait for a while then it would be not easy to clean, there's different mode to start, but I didn't see the different result, it all makes good taste soy milk, hope this will keep working for another year.

This is a Chinese brand that my mom uses it constantly back home making soybean milk or mixed nuts milk for the family. When I moved to US with my husband, I was purposely looking for this product and I'm so happy to find this design here. It's white and elegant which is my taste and also fits in the tone of my kitchen. More importantly, I have been using it for several times, it does the job very well, I will keep using it and let time prove the quality.

I have been disappointed with this machine since I bought it. The English manual is not written by an English-speaker so does not make sense. The only function that has worked is the bean function. The "Keep Warm" and Cancel has never worked. It's very sensitive, so if you bump or jiggle it, it'll cease, and you can't start it again until it cools.I must strain the milk twice to get enough pulp out.And then if just stopped working altogether soon after the warranty ended. So now I must buy another machine. I will never buy another JoYoung product and do not recommend this manufacturer. I'm going to try the SoyJoy.

"Soy milk" you get at the store is a poor facsimile of fresh-brewed soy drink. This machine fit the bill, producing a warm, comforting soy drink ... until it stopped working. Specifically, the buttons up top stopped responding to presses. It happened gradually -- one button, not that important, died. Then the button that turns the machine on died, and that was that.You can actually save money brewing your own soy drink -- soy beans are far cheaper than cartons -- but we never got close to breaking even. This thing died after about four months of use.

I like this soy milk maker. Although the panel is self-explanatory, it comes with a booklet of recipes that expand the possible plant milks you can make. The machine is versatile, a plain soy milk has a pure taste that is most delicious. Blending with different sorts of soybeans adds more flavor and diversifies nutrients. Only the first time making a soybean takes longer than expected, after it is conditioned, everything goes smoothly!

This is our third Joyoung soy milk maker and it broke in less than TWO MONTHS. The first one we bought was an older model and we used it for 5 years without a problem. The second one is the same model as the current one and it stopped working after 2 years (lights all kept blinking when plugged in but machine didn't run). This current one that we bought has the same problem but it only lasted less than two months. We have been extremely careful when we wash it to avoid any water damage so am not sure why the machine keeps breaking and am very concerned it is a quality control problem on this product. We tried to file for a return but the seller did not respond to us. Don't purchase this product unless you want to risk it breaking immediately and not get a refund. Very disappointed.
