Link-MIÂ HDCP Converter,2.2 to 1.4"Only Converterted HDCP Protocol Version,Does Not Handle HDMI Signals

This device works great with Roku 4. My TV supports HDCP 2.2 but I use a 4K HDMI switcher which supports HDCP 1.4 only. So I needed a way to get my 4K signal to the TV since the switch only sends HDCP 1.4. I hooked this device up between Roku 4 and the HDMI switch in 20 seconds and it worked great. Eventually I may need one for my DirecTV receiver unless HDMI switches come out which support toslink (digit audio out) and HDCP 2.2. All of these conflicting standards make it hard to get one device to talk to another to display 4K Ultra HD. However, this simple device helps bridge the gap. I highly recommend it if you see any message resembling "this device cannot display 4K data since it needs HDCP 2.2 HDMI support".

Great little piece of hardware! I had a problem with Blu-ray playback going from an Oppo BDP-83 (2009 or so), through a new Onkyo TX-NR757 (2016) to a Pioneer Pro-111FD (2008). It seemed that the new Onkyo receiver changed the HDCP handshake procedure in my component chain - but not all the time! Anyway, after incorporating the Link-MI between the Onkyo's HDMI Out and the Pro-111FD's HDMI In, the problem was solved and hasn't resurfaced. Thanks for a terrific fix to the HDCP (what else is new) problem!

Does everything it says it does! Without this device I wouldn't be able to use the new Amazon Fire TV on my 4K TV to watch 4K content because my TV does not support HDCP 2.2. This has saved me from having to buy a new TV. Fantastic.

Awesome gadget; it works great and my Roku 4 is completely "happy" now playing 4k content on my older Seiki UHD TV. It is a purchase you won't regret.
