I like that there's a grab-handle area to lift the bike. It's very functional.

Instructions were pretty awful, but you remove 4 bolts and install 4 new bolts, pretty simple. Make sure you keep and use the washer-spacers from the factory bolts. They help hold the rack in and prevent rattling.Great size to hold a 12 or 15-pack of beer, small backpack or duffel. I added a medium-sized cargo net that wraps completely around the rack. The rack extends slightly beyond the rear fender, and follows the lines of the bike. Overall, looks nice, is sturdy and simply to install.

This is a very nice tail rack for my 2023 Kawasaki KLX230SM with only a couple of minor issues. Installation was easy with the help of PM's video. The rack is well made and has an excellent powder coat finish. There are lots of ways to secure a tail bag to the rack. I added some grey foam to mine so the bag would have a sticky surface to sit on. It works very well with my Nelson Rigg bag.There were two issues with my installation, and both might be related to the fact that my KLX is the Super Moto rather than the dual sport model - perhaps there's a difference in the subframe. First was the left forward bolt did not clear the side panel. Not a huge deal since the panel is plastic; a little judicious trimming and the problem was solved. The second issue was also on the left side with the rear mounting brace. As pictured the alignment is a bit off. Adding a washer between the spacer and rack brace would probably fix this and I might at some future time, but for now it's something I can live with.All in all this is very well made accessory and nicely expands the SM's capabilities.

First off, looking at the pictures on PMracks website, the rear turn signals are not there. This rack does clear the turn signal so they can stay on, good! Second, watch the short installation video on the PMracks website. Pay attention to the order of the bolt, washer, rack and spacers. I put a little dab of blue loctite on the end of the supplied mounting stainless steel bolt (socket head cap screw). Installation took about 15 minutes. The fit was perfect and the mounting hardware first rate, thanks PMracks.

Easy installation, looks like it is well made. No problems with clearances on the KLX230S. Plenty of grab spots to attach bungee cords.

I watched the instructional video on the company's website, and the installation went pretty well.

Good welds and construction. Mounts to existing bolt holes, comes with stainless bolts. Sturdy platform for a small bag or extra fuel.
