I used my new 'splatter screen' the very day it came (which was pretty fast) to fry chicken in oil, which always covers my stove and counter with splatters of hot oil, and was pleasantly surprised that there was no "mess" to clean up. I like the fact that it 'feels' substantial and is made of stainless steel, which makes it easier to clean. I have purchased several splatter guards in the past, but know that this one will last a long time. Nice to cook with because you can see the food and when you take it off, you flip it and it stands on 3 "legs" while you tend the food. It catches most of the splatter, but not all...maybe 90 percentile. Stove clean up is still necessary but much easier. Screen easily cleans in dishwasher. I experimented with putting food on top of the screen to rewarm while frying food underneath and was surprised how fast and hot the upper food got. It browned the food nicely but it also "browned" the screen in spots which I consider cosmetic only. Overall, a nice heavy screen that works quite well!

Just what I was needing for the kitchen. My old one was in a sad state, and I wanted a larger one that would fit on a new super-size skillet I recently purchased. This one is very well thought out. The little feet on it hold it snugly on my smaller 10" skillet, but I guess the size of the skillet would make a difference. This is well constructed and I like the handle supporting the center of the screen. I reduces the grease splatters, but does not eliminate them entirely, but I do not this there is one that could and still leave the food cook correctly. The new skillet is 12.5" and this just covers it.

I bought this a while ago, & then forgot I had it. I have used it every time I cook bacon & it works great! I hate cleaning up the stove after cooking bacon but this splatter screen has helped keep the stove so much cleaner! It also keeps the hot grease from splattering on to my arm! The only down side is the handle is in the way sometimes but I've learned to turn down the flame before taking the screen off to turn the bacon over. I use it on my large 12"chef style pan. It's too large & heavy for the smaller size pans.

Sturdy, and my wife loves it. It is slightly bigger than we had hoped, but we are keeping it. Will be looking for one that is only 10-in. Have not used it yet, but looking at the screen we can see that is will be effective in screening grease. The image seems to indicate that there is a smaller extra screen...not so. They should change the image. I do half of the cooking at home, and 90% of the cleaning of the stove...so a good guard is good. This 13-in splatter will be used for wok cooking...orange chicken, anyone?

This splatter screen is a must for anyone who fries food on the stove. It really cuts down on the cleanup afterwards and is very easy to clean. The screen is very durable and should last for years. It can be used over smaller frying pans as well and there is no reason why you could not use it to drain foods, too. I will get a lot of use out of this product.

Perfect. I insist on cooking bacon in a deep nonstick pan in my oven. Just comes out perfect every time. What's not perfect is when bacon grease is snapping and crackling all over the place. This splatter screen was a life saver. Keeps the oil from splashing out and onto walls and bottom of my oven. Less cleanup for me and perfect bacon. Win/Win!

Have not tried it yet, but it is absolutely sturdier and of higher quality than any other splatter screens I’ve used in the past. I love the way the handle is built into the screen, very durable to handle.

Best splatter guard I've ever had. Keeps most grease at bay, the little legs keep it off the surface, also very sturdy it will last for years

Great product well made and stops fat spitting perfectly. Love the feet on it so it doesn't get fat all over the kitchen counter.

Does the job. Greatly reduces fat splattering. Handle could be a bit longer
