Great Toothpaste! TERRIBLE SHIPPING!
I love this toothpaste! It has a great mint taste and is the best of its kind for the money! I have been using it since it was first developed about twenty years ago.Unfortunately, jamming six boxes of toothpaste into a single-bubble-wall envelope with no additional packaging is a terrible idea. The envelope (even though it looked OK on the outside) must have been squashed in transport, so the six boxes were torn apart and one of the toothpaste tubes was popped open. I can go ahead and use that one first, but PLEASE START SHIPPING THIS ITEM IN A STURDY BOX!

Update 2 years later:This product has probably been discontinued by Colgate. It is impossible to find in retail establishments and its price on Amazon has more than doubled, in some cases tripled. The combination of high price and scarcity is a classic sign that resellers have bought up all remaining stock. Another example of a product that was discontinued because it worked so well...Original post:I have used this for years based on a Consumer Reports recommendation back then. I've found it definitely does help reduce tartar buildup, but won't eliminate it completely. I've also found it's seldom in stock in the major stores in my area.

I purchased a large pack of Colgate Tartar protection for my Grandkids. I kept one for my self and fall in love with. Aside from having tartar protections, leaves my breath very fresh and whiten my teeth. Excellent price too. I am very happy with

Hard To Find In Stores
I personally like the taste of this toothpaste better than all the other brands and other variations of Colgate. The tartar control is an added bonus and with regular use I get good reports from my dental hygienist at each visit. I have difficulty finding this version in my local stores and recommend it.

White teeth, toothpaste is very fragrant, I like it very much
i like this I am a heavy coffee and tea drinker so I find myself using white strips periodically to take off surface stains, maybe once or twice a year. I noticed that I can go longer between whitening while using this toothpaste- that’s a big win. Does it totally replace strips? No. But it does work noticeably better than other toothpastes.
