Very Pleased. First Experience.
This is my first TV Android Box experience. This is nice package for the price from my research on the internet. It has an advanced chipset and decent amount of memory installed for movies and games. The interface is simple. I like simple, so that appeals to me. The remote is line-of-site.... so make sure where ever you install this box, the remote can be pointed at it. The buttons on the remote have a nice positive click to them and it feels well made. The aluminum case feels nice. I like that this box has 3 USB ports and 1 micro SD card slot. The 3 USB ports will come in handy... 1 for a mini keyboard, 1 for a thumbdrive (for installing apps) and the last I can keep my external drive hooked to it. I purchased a small wireless keyboard and it works well with this box. It shuts down and starts up fairly quickly. The KODI app come installed with a few basics like Exodus and Phoenix (nice and simple). Overall....it works well. No erratic shut-downs... or overheating issues that I can tell. I give this one a 5*.

Just Okay
This box is okay, but I should have just went with another firestick. Keep in mind this device WILL NOT PLAY HD video on HULU, Netflix, Amazon apps. The only real use is to use kodi. Just get a firestick which is the jack of all trades.Pros:- this box is much faster than my firestick- has a full android OS- can plug in standard mouse and useCons:- I have to reconnect my wireless network every time I turn it on- Kodi crashes sometimes (this could be a problem with the build I installed but I'm not sure)- Netflix and HULU will only play in NON HD- Amazon Video basically unavailable (unless you install an annoying workaround which is non hd)

This one actually works pretty good but nothing beats a wireless mouse or keyboard ...
I have purchased many boxes ranged from $35 - $125, and most recently a H96 Pro box with 3 gigs of ram and this box is still by box of use. The interface is extremely user friendly. Setup takes minutes and its extremely fast. I will add that I don't use the build that comes with it which is rather simple but my own but since putting on my build this machine has been a dream come true. I purchased 2 to give one to friend but ended up giving them one of my higher priced units and kept these two for myself. I don't get anything for giving my reviews and the last thing that plagues all of these units it the remote. This one actually works pretty good but nothing beats a wireless mouse or keyboard combo. I was also surprised that they actually boxed this in a really nice package and they give you an mini to RCA which in nice. Great price bad product
I have been using Kodi and actually selling Kodi programming for some time now. I like the try out the new toys from time to time This one looked on average about 20 bucks less than the other octa-core boxes. Well pay the extra 20 dollars because apparently you really need it. Lets start with the incredibly basic interface, When you can get the remote to work (Ill touch on that) your greeted with a UI on top of an android 6.0 UI. The basic settings are there but there atre times you have to leave the UI to access the Android us which really needs to be controlled with a mouse to operate correctly. The user manual digitally included does nothing more than give you broken support links. I could only get one program to connect to miracast and I couldn't see the Q12 as Wi-Fi direct on 3 different devices. The remote which is basis and thats fine needs to be in direct point of site of the receiver. Even an inch left or right and it will lag or not respond at all. I find myseld having to stand or walk close to get it work. Its pretty frustrating when the UI is nightmare an the remote doesn't work well either. Kodi is there, though i wiped it and started fresh with a new build. It works and it only kicks me off the wiff 25% of the time. I dont really notice the EXTRA power the box is suppose to give. I have setup over 60 Fire Sticks with Kodi and this feel as fast as Amazons latest model. With Amazon its cheaper and you get an Alexa remote that works and I've never been kicked of the Wi-Fi I m a fan of Chinese products. There is a lot out there that give you jgreat bang for you buck This is not one of them. Like I said 20 dollars apparently goes a long way

Nice box :)
Just turned it on and a minute later I found the new movies I wanted to see. That's mostly why I got this box. I think it's a good buy if your into new tech. I used a old wireless mouse and keyboard until I got my mini keyboard in the mail. All work well with this box.

A truly awesome piece of hardware.
It can play Android games and I am also running Kodi on it with no issues.Do yourself a favor and pickup a wireless keyboard/mouse combo and you will have an awesome media box ready to go. The remote it comes with is okay but IMO a keyboard & mouse are a must.Everything I've watched looks good on my 4K 55' Sony TV.
