The Most Versatile Appliance in the Kitchen!
The Instant Cooker 6-Quart Multi-Functional Pressure Cooker by Instant Cooker comes nicely packaged with the following items: plastic soup spoon, plastic rice spoon, plastic measuring cup, stainless steel steam rack, hot-pot glove, and a condensation collector. I purchased this cooker for my mother who has been wanting an electric type pressure cooker for a while now. I already have my own Cuisinart Pressure Cooker that I use on the holidays to make great tasting roasts and other meals. And even though, I am accustomed to using my Cuisinart, I still find using any pressure cooker to be a little bit intimidating and somewhat dangerous if not used properly. But when I received and used this Instant Cooker, all my feelings of intimidation went away quickly because of how easy it is to cook with. I used this Instant Cooker to make a chicken vegetable soup, then moved onto a roast, garbanzo bean for hummus and brown rice. I sautéed the chicken and the roast and steamed my asparagus using the various button functions. I absolutely love using this cooker for so many reasons.First, this Instant Cooker is electric and plugs into the wall, similar to my Cuisinart, Second, there are 18 push buttons on the face of the cooker to allow me to choose what and how I wish to cook my meal, including the on/off/manual buttons. But there is also a manual button if I choose to ignore all of the preset functions. My Cuisinart only has three buttons and is a simple machine yet still more intimidating than the Instant Cooker. Third, the Instant Cooker seems quiet during the cooking process, versus my other one that’s much more noisier. Fourth, my Cuisinart is a true electric pressure cooker that sauté’s and brown’s, but the Instant Cooker is so much more, it’s an electric pressure cooker that sauce’s and brown’s, and also is: a rice cooker, a slow cooker, a steamer, a yogurt maker and a steamer all-in-one. An Instant Pot is known to be a "one-pot wonder" that is capable of doing the job of seven separate appliances. That’s seven different types of pots and appliances that my mom will no longer need in her kitchen and may be replaced by this one big Instant Cooker appliance. That's amazing.Overall, this Multi-Functional Instant Cooker is a good quality appliance that is so very versatile with good lid suction, easy lock and release, clear LCD display, convenient, and definitely a space saver. It makes cooking even more enjoyable than it already is, so quick, so easy and so delicious. I highly recommend it to all avid cooks and can’t wait for my mom to start using it.

Works great... except for non-standard screw on the bottom
I've been using the Instant Cooker for about 6 months, and here are my thoughts so far.1) It totally works just like it's supposed to. It heats things, the pressure seal works, etc.2) As with any other similar pressure cooker, if it says that it takes 5 minutes to cook something, you have to add on 20 minutes for it to heat up and several minutes for the pressure to release if you pop the valve, so the 30 minutes that it takes to cook some veggies is almost always slower than the 7-10 minutes it would take in a skillet. At this point, I mostly use it for beans, which it definitely cooks in only 1.5 hours (1 hour cook time + heat up and cool down) instead of the usual 6 hour.3) If you want to use it to make yogurt, you should boil the milk on the stove to get it to the right temperature, as the temperature gauge inside is not accurate for yogurt. This is the same with any other similar product, and there are great web pages with information on how to make yogurt well in a pressure cooker. The setting where it stays warm overnight is OK, but you don't really need that either.4) I was a bit distracted one day and ended up taking out the internal pot to pour some beans into, but then poured them directly onto the heating element instead! They slid underneath and would not come out with any amount of tilting and shaking. I turned over the machine and saw a tiny screw... but after trying my own tools and then taking it to a hardware store, it turned out the screw head is not any standard size (it needs a star drive somewhere between T10 and T15, which doesn't exist). After much manipulating with some needle-nosed pliers and a too-small hex-head bit that I held at an angle, I was able to get it out, remove the beans, and replace the screw with a normal Phillips-head screw. This took up a huge amount of my time, and I see it as a major design flaw considering how easy it is to accidentally get food under the heating element. With that said, if you have patience and a few back-up tools to McGyver it open, it's not that big a deal. Otherwise, you might want another brand.

It would help if the model had a cookbook or at least a cookbook on line that matched the cooker

Don't waste your money
Don't waste your money!!! This product is a joke. This "pressure" cooker won't even seal. The top valve does not matter which way you turn it, there is no sealing it. The timer does not work (it shuts off after 30 min) leaving my food not ready to eat. The lid handle warped after the first use and completely came apart after the second use. (yes I gave more than one chance to prove itself), but it was a disappointment every time:(I could go on and on, but I won't waste your time or mine!!

Poor description leads to unsatisfied customer
I purchased this multi function cooker because in the description is says you can program the cooking time. What it DID NOT say is that you cannot use the delayed cooking function with the slow cooker. This is the whole reason I purchased this cooker was to be able to delay the start time on the slow cooker. Very unsatisfied.

Buy a real Instant pot brand not this one
It stops cooking after 30 minutes. Next time I'm ordering the name brand Instant pot. This pot came with the teflon pan which after time flakes off abc can cause cancer. Instant pot brand uses stainless steel.

Great cooker! Hope it comes back
I have this cooker and was disappointed to find it unavailable when I went to order one for my son. I'm not sure how it compares to the InstaPot, but one feature that I love about this cooker is coated inside. Absolutely no sticking of any kind. The cooker overall is reliable, easy to use and spot on with its cooking abilities. I hope they bring it back.

Disappointing products
This cooker does not keep accurate time when set above 30 minutes. This is a big problem for recipes that take longer cooking times such as pork shoulder.
