Super Dungeon Bros. - PlayStation 4

Many of the existing reviews seem to focus on whether it's worth a download for free on XBOX, or complaining about Dungeon Bros being the free game of the month. For those wanting to know about the game itself, I hope this helps out.I'm a huge fan of RPG's, and Dungeon Bros seemed to present itself as a casual dungeon exploration in the same vein as Gauntlet and Baldur's Gate. Thinking ahead, I hoped Dungeon Bros would be a fun co-op for friends and family over Christmas break.While the game didn't necessarily fulfill my RPG favored interest, Dungeon Bros excels at providing an enjoyable co-op experience with a lot of replayability. Everyone had a great time once we all hurdled over skipping the tutorial (because it was only for one person), and figured out the rhythm of gameplay.Dungeon Bros is a game about speed over exploration. There's a threat level meter on the right, and if it hits the top, a ton of monsters will spawn -- which often inspired the Monty Python "Run Away" tactic. So, while you may have your eye on that gold chest on the mini-map, sometimes it's best to complete the level and move on (other players are revived with low health to start the next round).Reviving fallen allies is key to the game, especially since everyone shares lives. Once everyone dies and no lives remain, it's Game Over. Additionally, making it through spike traps and other puzzles requires cooperation. In my play-throughs with family, we appreciated the requirement of good communication and talking through strategy.The color of a hero affects your name only, and there are four types of weapons to choose from (though, you only start with two options). You unlock more later with gems earned from chests and completed levels.One thing you should know about the game -- it's difficult. Even after 4-5 plays with experience under our belt and extra lives to boot ... we still didn't beat the first-level boss. So, I'm now subtly convincing my roommates to play with me to beat that first level and earn more weapons.Bottom Line:-Think Castle Crashers in a more Gauntlet-style format.-Was it worth the $16 I paid with Amazon pre-order? Absolutely.-At times, the game can be glitchy when hoards of enemies swarm the screen.-Not too much fun for solo play

Though flawed, this game can be a lot of fun when played locally with friends. Not really seeing how this could be too much fun as a single player game, though the graphics are awesome, because the play gets a little redundant. But honestly, if you just want to have a raucous good time with some friends, pop in Super Dungeon Bros and cracked open a case of beer. The trolling potential in this game is awesome!

Not a bad game but I wasn't a fan. I should have done more research into how it plays, but just didn't really enjoy it. Played it four player and none of us were really into it. Not bad for couch co-op though.

It's too bad they didn't put half as much time into ironing out the bugs and making the actual gameplay more fun than they put into the voice acting and many (on so many!) cutscenes.The fighting can be fun from time to time, but the constant bugs, calling through the world, and confusing objectives definitely detract from the game. I having played very many games like this where I wished it would end.2/5 stars IMO.

If you're looking for a good game to play with a younger audience that has a distinct Diablo feel to it then this is the game for you fun to play expecially With Friends and a great price I would recommend it for anybody looking for a good game for their grandkids or kids.

The game is not worth the money. The gameplay is not well designed and control is unclear. The loading time is considerably long for each level and the actual level is very short.You could get a laugh or two if you play with your friends for the first couple of times, and that's it.It is best to spend the money elsewhere on the big title games when on sale.I was fooled by the gameplay trailer and pre-ordered it, only played it once and now it's sitting somewhere who knows. I do not recommend this game.

Este juego no es la gran cosa en cuento a gráficos, pero te ofrece mucha diversión y un nivel bastante alto de dificultad, aparecen hordas y hordas de enemigos que no son tan fáciles de vencer. Cuanto más jugadores partcipen, mejor :)

El juego no es lo que yo esperaba, ya que buscaba un multiplayer divertido y entretenido, estilo "arcade" para jugar con la banda. Es muy difícil, te matan muy rápido y no tiene checkpoints, por lo que si te matan, debes iniciar el nivel de nuevo. No cuentas con armas ni chance de revivir. El concepto es original pero no así su jugabilidad.Las dos estrellas es por el juego, ya que en cuanto a la entrega, Amazon es el líder absoluto del e-commerce. Ninguna queja y por el contrario, entrega a tiempo y mucho antes de lo esperado.
