34"H Expandable Free-standing Steel Mesh Pet Gate - Frontgate Dog Gate

These people are the rudest, most unprofessional people I have ever purchased from. I have been given the run around for three weeks, lied too, hung up on and they don't return phone calls. All this just to order a few dog gates of which I still don't have three weeks later. Please do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere as I will in the future.

I was apprehensive when my girlfriend told me about this gate. I thought that it would be just a high-priced baby-gate, but I went ahead with the purchase anyway. I am glad that I did. The gate is a sturdy device keeps our rambunctious puppy away from our Christmas tree and out of any trouble that would come from that. The construction is solid and heavy, but not so heavy that one cannot move it should the need arrive. The mesh allows our" little one" to be a part of the action visually and is just the right size to prevent his nails from getting stuck within. Honestly, my only complaint is with the the H-design for the feet. The exposed metal can easily catch one's foot and can leave a painful reminder to be more careful. I would recommend a n optional sleeve or cushion to fit around this foot to prevent mishaps in the house.

I've had this gate for over a year and love it! It is very attractive (gets many comments from visitors), though looks much like a fireplace screen. I have 3 dogs (14 - 34 lbs) and it keeps them back from my wide living room entrance perfectly. I also like that it is portable and can easily be moved out of the way, such as when we were moving in new furniture. I'm thinking about getting this design in a smaller version for another doorway.

The product image shows a fairly large Dalmatian puppy.The product installation guide states "This product is designed for small dogs 6.5-17.5lbs(3-8kg)". Completely useless for us.This information should be included in the description, and not buried in the user guide.
