Great solution for our back office monitor
Worked very well and was easy to set up. We were using an old computer monitor with network viewer for our back office monitor. The computer would often wander off and we would lose video feed. Bought this handy converter and ran a short coax from the main DVR to back office. Now we have better picture and the monitor is always online. Allowed us to re-purpose the VGA monitor, rather than purchase a high $$ CCTV BNC monitor.

Adapt your what??
This doodad allowed me to replace a crappy failed EverFocus monitor that has BNC inputs with an Dell computer monitor through VGA, worked perfect.The price was right for this product, eliminated the fear of spending a lot of money for something that may not work.I was actually surprised the software/hardware wasn't too bad and allowed for some pretty good adjustments while maintaining good image quality.This device has been running continuously now for a couple months, lets see how long it lasts...

Good unit with power supply fault
The product works well I have it set up on to display live cctv data to a vga display, I would give it 5 stars but there is a power-supply issue where the unit will not receive power unless the supply cable is held with tension in one direction I don’t know if it’s a faulty supply cord or if the contacts are faulty in the receiver itself. I have it mounted to my workspace and it is working for the moment if it’s not moved.

Good product
I used this to transfer video from a car stereo box I made for my shop to 3 monitors. I needed to switch from video out on the back of the stereo to VGA for the monitors. I used a VGA splitter to send one signal to multiple monitors.Easy to setup and I gave it a 4 star only because the video quality isn't the best. Pictures dont show the video quality well.

I returned product do to the fact it did not solve my issueI needed to see a cctv camera on a vga monitor connecting camera via bnc connector it did not workif someone could tell me how to make it work I will be glad to purchased it againcamera needs to be on during business hours to watch front door access card required
